Reflection:
a. BMI
The body mass index, or BMI, is a measure used to quantify a person's level of body fat. It is
important because it determines whether a person is underweight, normal, or obese.
b. 90-degrees push-up
Push-ups provide a full-body workout without the use of machines or gym equipment. It is one
of the best workouts for body strengthening and cardiovascular fitness. One of the advantages of
performing push-ups is that it tightens and tones the chest muscles.
c. partial curl-ups
Curl-up is a basic exercise that targets the abdominal area. This exercise is performed by laying
on your back and lifting your torso. Just like the push-up, it does not need any workout equipment. This
strengthens abdominal muscles, which increases metabolism as well as blood and oxygen supply.
Furthermore, the strength of the abdominal muscles is closely related to the fitness of the spine. Weak
abdominal muscles trigger muscle strain to tighten, causing an increase in the curve of the lower back.
The sit and reach test assesses a person's flexibility. It evaluates the flexibility of the hamstring
and lower back muscles.
e. shoulder stretch
Shoulder stretches measures the flexibility of the shoulder joints. This improves stability as well
as expands the range of motion. It relieves neck and shoulder muscle strain, discomfort, and tightness.
