To continue and further your studies into architecture, you have been tasked

with producing an imaginative artwork in response to exploring an artist of


your choosing

An Artist Room – to be made inside a box, decorated in the style of your artist

Wall paper design – create a repeat pattern to be used as wall paper using
your own photos, inspired by your chosen artist as a starting point

A piece of artwork to display in the artists room – This could be a painting in a


frame, an ornament, a cushion or throw, a lamp shade etc.

Option 1- Make an Artist Room inside a box (this could be
a shoe box). Decorate your room in the style of your
chosen artist
Wallpaper – Take a series of photographs, inspired by your
artist. Design a wallpaper print using your own
photographs as a starting point
Option 3 – Design a piece of art work inspired by your
chosen artist. The artwork must be suitable to hang/be
displayed in their room. E.g. painting, lampshade,
ornament, cushion, throw etc.
• You have 6 weeks (including holidays) to complete this task. You can
get your family/friends involved in helping you if you want, too.

• You must remember that you have been given a number of weeks to
do this work so it must look as if it has taken you some time. You should
spend 1 hour per week on this project until it is due in.

• You will be asked to upload a picture of your project/or the first task
once for a progress check. If you do not you will receive a H code so
REMEMBER to upload a picture of your work.

• For the final deadline you will need to upload picture/s of your work
on to Teams for your teacher to be able to assess. You will receive your
feedback on a postcard and your teacher will add your rewards to
Classcharts. If you miss the deadline you will receive a H code.

• Please contact your teacher if you are struggling with any element of
your HLP.
