    Reflection Paper: EXAM

    The Movie “Exam” was a great movie that shows a selection process for a job,
    and also the movie highlights the different characteristics of an employee and why you
    need to filter them properly. In the recruitment process, the human resources
    management gather applicant that can be a candidate for the vacant job. Human
    resource management can implement a different strategy to filter the right applicant.
    This can be done in the selecting process where the typical way of selection was done
    by an interview. But in the movie Exam, the process of selection of the right applicant
    was done by an exam with a test paper that the question cannot be seen by a naked
    eye.
    It is a great movie but it also makes me feel sad because it shows how human
    person behave when they are in a crucial situation. In this movie, we can see the nature
    of the human person. It shows the bad side of a person that they will do everything just
    to get what they want even though it affects their fellow human being. It highlights how
    selfish a human person when it comes to money because in this movie the applicant
    fights for the job because of the temptation that this job will give a high salary. The
    movie also amazes me in the part of the recruitment process. The manager prepares to
    have an exam for applicants that has one question and through it, he can filter the right
    person that is not only well equip in knowledge but also use her heart to help the others.
    This movie involves logical thinking and analysis that you will also guest what
    is the problem? I know that the problem in this was the “Do you still have a question
    “and the answer was no problem, but in my conclusion, the main problem was how the
    applicants react against each other. This movie shows also many situations in our
    society and how people act. Many people prepare to build their knowledge but they
    forget how to act properly and how to treat their fellow human beings. Some people that
    you trusted trick us because of selfishness. I think this kind of people always looks for
    the best way to be easily employed or promoted. In fact, knowledge was needed to be
    employed but after that in the workplace, you are not alone you need to interact with
    your co-worker and move as a team. If you don’t know how to treat them properly so
    you failed as an employee. We need to sharpen not only our brain but also our heart for
    our fellow human beings. This kind of exam should be used by the human resources
    management to eradicate people that are not qualified for the job and only equipped
    with knowledge. A business was a team fight, the failure of one was a failure of the
    organization. So, it is important to filter the right applicant for the job, to eradicate
    applicants that are selfish, and to promote applicants that have the knowledge and a
    heart for others.
