    Reinforcement Activity 3.
    Assess yourself with the following cases. What would you think or do if presented
    with the following.
    Select and answer only 2 items/numbers.  
    1. A person selling a bar of gold approached you. The person says it is
    pure gold and showed you a shining, gold-colored metal bar. He gave
    you a price and will turn over you the gold bar if you would give him the
    money.

    - Precious metals, including gold, are true money in my opinion. I am


    interested to buy the gold being offered to me, but I will not give in easy in
    exchange for money. I'll be cautious if it's genuine or not; we're not sure; it
    might be gold-plated in disguise. If I trade it for money, I need to verify its
    legitimacy. Also, if the monetary worth of that gold is the same, I will not
    attempt converting it. If they are both equal in value.

    2. A person tells you that a member of your family met an accident and
    asks you to meet him with a certain amount of money as down payment
    for the hospital bill.

    - First, I'll be panicked; hearing such things will trigger a mix of emotions in me
    and drive me to act without thinking. But, in most situations, when these things
    happen, I make certain that it is my family that is being discussed. People
    nowadays tend to do these things in order to obtain money from others, and it
    is a scam. I'm fully aware that when anything like this occurs and they ask for
    money, I'm pretty sure it's a scam.
    3. Somebody came out in the media accusing another person to be a
    crook.

    - In that scenario, I'll leave it to people's assumptions and judgment to decide


    whether or not they are falling to false reports. Why should we push to defend
    ourselves from the truth if we know these allegations are false? When, in fact, we
    know that these accusations are made up by someone who has problems on the
    other side. We should be more cautious when hearing stories and not believe
    only one side. We must always remember not to trust quickly in stories created
    by others and to be aware enough to see all sides equally.
