Mobile Legends Bang Bang Tournament Rules:

Tournament Structure
1. Tournament is open to all-male, all-female, or mixed squads.
2. There will be a total of twelve (12) squads who will be competing for the ML Tournament
Championship.
3. Maximum of two (2) squads per team will be allowed to join the competition. Hence, every team must
assign Squad A and Squad B.
4. Every game will be played in a Draft Pick mode.
5. Qualifying stage is will be in a single elimination except for the Finals. The two remaining squads will
play in a best-of-3 series.
6. In the Finals, the squad who earns two victories in the best-of-3 series will be crowned as the SWSSMI
Sportsfest – Virtual Battle 2019 Champions.
Player Requirements:
1. A player can only join one team.
2. Players must be registered in the pool of players prior to the tournament dates.
3. Players must be a Grade 7 student and above.
4. Handheld devices will be used for every match. Therefore, each player must have their own devices. It
will be surrendered to the team coordinator when not in use.
Squad Requirements:
1. Each squad must provide their own internet connection.
2. Organizers and committee will not be held liable for any trouble, with regards to connection,
experienced by any squad during the actual game.
3. Each squad must be composed of 5 players.
4. Once registered, players cannot be replaced throughout the event.
General Conduct:
1. Players are expected to conduct themselves and compete with the spirit of sportsmanship, maintaining
a friendly and polite demeanor in activities involving other participants and public in general.
2. The organizer has the right to apply penalties, disqualify and dismiss any registered player from the
tournament, at their discretion, at any stage of the tournament.
a. Schedule of matches will be announced prior to the actual match. Failure to report five minutes
after the announcement will result to disqualification
b. Automatic disqualification will be given to a squad who violates the following:
 Trashtalking in any forms (e.g. verbal or on-screen)
 Excessive noise
 Replacement of players during the tournament dates
3. Cheating doesn’t need to be successful to qualify as a violation. Conspiring to cheat is already a
violation and will lead to an automatic disqualification for all conspirators.
4. Examples of cheating includes, but are not limited to:
 Ghosting
 Account Sharing
 Piloting
Other Detailed Rules & Technical Aspects:
 All participants will be advised of other rules or technical aspects of tournament prior to start of
competitions
 Third-party applications are prohibited. Violation will lead to disqualification from the tournament.
