The artist is tackling about street musicians. Most in the older age group with
lower levels of education chose to be street musicians due to economic necessities and
employment restrictions. Others are in the younger age group with a long-standing love
of music chose to undertake street music because they believed this might be a path to
mainstream work as a street musician.
My art tackles about dance because it given me the chance to find myself,

Most prominent in Arturo’s artwork are font, shape, texture, shape, space, color,
and value, the additions of mark making, and materiality. In the foreground a man stands
holding a musical instrument, the middle ground is the stage, and the background is only
a dark color. For example, red and black.

Arturo Luz objectives is unity, simplicity and clarity. His styles and techniques in
varying degrees of abstraction to create playful geometric figures and forms. His work
shows clarity of intention and clarity in execution. He looks for the relationship of space,
color, line, form and tone, of relationship between substance and form.
5. Content: What do you think the artwork is all about after carefully examining its
parts? What story, what message, and what argument is the artist trying to tell?
For me, while examining its parts, the artwork was all about finding freedom.
When I observe Arturo Luz's painting 'The Street Musician', it seems that humans are free
to express and show their talents which is why my paintings is a dancer because it’s not
only musicians are allowed to show their talents in public but also dancers. There is a lot
of talent that not everyone knows about yet. The artist's argument trying to tell us that his
painting represents something about you and that it is your freedom, the thing that you
hide and you can't show off.
