Science and mathematics teachers in public high schools in the National Capital Region of the Philippines faced various problems from 2005 to 2011. This study aimed to identify those problems by examining students, teachers, and school administrators over a seven-year period to understand the contexts affecting science and math education in the region. Having background information on previous related research provides understanding of the issues and sets credibility for analyzing the findings.
