The major activities that can be done by tourists within Ilocos Region are the following:
visit the biggest church, climb up to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and sand boarding.
2. What rare attractions, activities and flora and fauna exist in the Ilocos Region?
Ilocos is home to some of the Philippines' most photogenic scenery. The Patapat Viaduct
is a stunning example of modern engineering. The Bangui windmills and Suba Sand
Dunes also make the list.
1. Choose one province within the region and convince us through writing to make that province
their next travel destination.
Pangasinan
Pangasinan is a destination for tourists who wish to explore islands and beaches,
waterfalls, and feast on tasty local cuisine—all just 3-4 hours of drive from Manila.
Pangasinan translates to “place of salt” as it is a major producer of salt. In fact, two of
their main products are bagoong (shrimp paste) and alamang (krill) that give additional
flavor to dishes. Add Pangasinan to your bucket list if you're looking for a quick escape
from the city.
2. If you design a package tour for region, what kind of tours will you have and what sites and
attraction will you include.
Pangasinan is home to many natural wonders, including caves, waterfalls, mountains,
hills, and, of course, its famous white sand beaches. The province’s coast is not only an
attraction but also a source of livelihood for those who farm salt from its rich salt beds.
In fact, the province’s name is derived from the word “panag-asinan,” which means
“where salt is made.” This doesn’t necessarily mean their food is salty though—two
famous dishes from the province are tupig and puto calasiao, two different kinds of
sweet rice cakes.

Quezon Province
I visited the Kamay ni Hesus shrine and I am very thankful for that
wonderful experience. The Kamay ni Hesus Shrine located at exactly in Brgy.
Tinamnan, Lucban, Quezon, and a 2 nd class municipality in the province of Quezon,
Philippines. The site has a huge size statue of Jesus Christ on the hill top that
you need to climb via a stairs made stone. Thousands of devotees go here,
especially every Holy Week to reflect, praise and give thanks to him. The place is
2-3 hours’ drive by jeep and bus from Laguna to Quezon. The route has lots of
zigzag road. Whether you are In Lucena City or Sta. Cruz, Laguna, there are
jeepneys and minibusses that will take you to Lucban and other neighboring towns.
Bus terminals are located along EDSA-Kamuning in Quezon City, Araneta Center in
Cubao, Buendia-Taft Avenues, and EDSA in Pasay City. There are also buses and
vans in Alabang that will take you to Sta. Cruz, Laguna, or Lucena City. Within the
5 hectare property, visitors can also visit Luklukan ni Maria, Noah’s Ark,
Resurrected Christ, Gallery of Saints, Garden of Eden, The Angels Hill, Pastoral
Center, Holy Family Park, Sea of Galilee, Prayer Room, Devotion Room, The
Marian Park, and the religious Murals. Noah’s Ark was constructed for people who
want to have a spiritual retreat, recollections, and seminars for the families in need
of spiritual and marital renewal. It is complete with a conference hall, refectory,
and accommodation. The place has a limited parking space both for cars and
motorcycle. Inside and outside the Kamay ni Hesus premises, there are different
stores where you can find and buy different religious items, foods and more, that
is perfect pasalubong for your love once. The aromatic and garlic flavor Lucban,
Quezon longganisa tastes good. You can buy this for the price of Php 75.00 for
short one and Php 140.00 for the long one. In this trip, I enjoyed too much and
reflected on all the sacrifices of Jesus Christ to us.
