    Vacancy – Site Clerk

    A local engineering company is looking for a Site Clerk aged 25 years or above to join its team in
    Makonde ASAP on contract basis.

    Key tasks include:

     supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the
    client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with the
    executive to monitor costs
     liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the
    public
     coordinating and supervising construction workers
     selecting tools and materials
     making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
     checking and preparing site reports
     maintaining quality control procedures
     finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
     assessing and minimising risk
     writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
     Receive, manage and account for fuel allocations

    Education & Qualifications

     Diploma or Equivalent in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying


     One or more years’ experience with roads Engineering
     Basic accounting skills

    For the above positions we require:


     Excellent verbal and written communication skills
     Exceptional interpersonal skills and team player
     Proficiency in Microsoft Office
     attention to detail and accuracy
     planning, organizing and strategic thinking
     information and task monitoring
     problem identification and analysis
     Report writing skills

    Salary
    300USD plus 100USD allowance (airtime allowance, etc)
