Weekly Narrative Report on


Oplan Balik Eskwela 2021
(September 6-10, 2021)

As stated in DepEd Order no. 58, series 2021, all schools will conduct the
National Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) for school year 2021-2022 with the theme: OBE
2021: Bayanihan Para sa Ligtas na Balik Eskwela, from September 6 60 September
17, 2021. This is part of the department’s effort to make sure that all our learners are
properly enrolled, and that OBE will be able to address problems, queries and other
concerns commonly encountered by most during the start of the school year. In this
regard, all schools are encouraged to set-up an OBE Public Assistance Command
Center (PACC) to serve as an information and complaints processing and routing
mechanism, and Dampias A.O. Rañises National High School participates and actively
cooperates in the Department’s endeavor.
On September 6, 2021, our school head, Mrs. Yza V. Cacayan conducted a
faculty meeting in which one of the agenda is the creation of the OBE-PACC Team. The
table below shows the different roles assigned to each faculty of the school.

The alternative work arrangement was also discussed, and teachers were
assigned as to which days they shall be working on site and working from home.
Teachers assigned to work on-site will perform the tasks as prescribed in the OBE-
PACC team assigned to them accordingly.
By September 8, 2021, there were a total of 152 learners enrolled, which is 83%
only as compared to the previous BOSY enrolment (SY 2020-2021) which is 184
learners. This is due to learners who have change their residence and low number of
incoming Grade 7 learners. Because of this, the school information drive through the
utilization of the OBE-PACC team was strengthened to achieve the goal of maintaining
or increasing the enrolment.
Mr. Edito G. Tagarda and Mr. Emmanuel S. Bullecer were then tasked to
conduct a ‘recorida’ and visited the Brgy. Halls within the municipality of Binuangan,

namely, Valdeconcha, Nabataan, Mosangot, Dampias A and B, and also Brgy.


Dinagsaan of Salay, Misamis Oriental. They also coordinated with the Brgy. Officials
and handed over LESF forms for parents and stakeholders to have the option of
enrolling their learners through the LESF drop box. The rest of the faculty were
instructed to give and post daily updates on their Facebook groups and group chats
and consistently monitor the enrolment data.
By September 10, 2021, there was a significant increase in the school
enrolment, from 152 to 170, which is 92% of the previous 184 BOSY enrolment (SY
2020-2021). This increase has indicated that the measures taken were effective and
should be continued.
