Case Study: Mistakes Bus Company Made While Losing Customers

The Study performed was found out that 80% of customer interviewed lost confidence in Bus
Company and the assessment team identified the following list of problems:

1. Loss of confidence in bus company


2. Passengers hurt or killed
3. People are late
4. Frequent bus accidents
5. Drivers not fully skilled and careful enough
6. Bad conditions of vehicles
7. Bad road conditions
8. Vehicles too old
9. No ongoing maintenance

Instructions

1. Identify a Core Problem


2. Decide which problems are causes and which are effects
3. `Arrange the causes and effects in a hierarchy (Problem Tree)
