Remember:

In identifying the factors of a number, you should master the


multiplication table and the divisibility rules.

• The number is divisible by 2, if the ones digit is (0, 2, 4, 6, 8)


or even.
• The number is divisible by 3, if the sum of all the digits of the
given number is divisible by 3.
• The number is divisible by 4, if the last 2 digits is divisible by
4.
• The number is divisible by 5, if the ones digit is 0 or 5.
• The number is divisible by 6, if the number is divisible by
both 2 and 3.
• The number id divisible by 9, if the sum of the digits is
divisible by 9.
• The number is divisible by 10, if the ones digit is 0.
