What'S New in Oemstar FW 1.202
202
• General release for OEMStar and AG-STAR
• Support latest OEMStar hardware with new memory
• Improvements to GLIDE
o Reduced position jumps near tree lines
o Improves GLIDE recovery performance in stationary conditions
o Improve labelling of GLIDE position type during brief SBAS or DGPS outages
• Reject commands to COM ports that are not activated on the card
• Include support for the following SSII logs
o SSIIMSG20, SSIIMSG21, SSIIMSG33
• General release for OEMStar and AG-STAR (includes 1.200 GL1DE enhancements)
• GL1DE enhancements:
a. GL1DE enhancements in high ionospheric environments.
b. Smoother transitions between positioning modes in GL1DE.
c. Blending of GLONASS observations with GPS in GL1DE WAAS mode.
• Fixed velocity and height limit warning reported at position change from single point to SBAS in
PDPPOS and BESTPOS.
• Fixed differential age time reporting when using EGNOS corrections in GPGGA log.
• Added SOFTLOAD functionality.
• Multi-constellation timing feature (SETTIMEBASE) allows user to select primary and secondary
constellations for timing source.
• Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) support (with FW option). See the RAIMMODE
command documentation for details.
• API support (with FW option) allows users to develop applications that can run directly on the
receiver platform.
• PPS output can be stopped/started based on the time status. See the PPSCONTROL command
documentation for details.
• New channel configurations available for timing and GLONASS-only PVT applications. See the
SELECTCHANCONFIG command documentation for details.
• DGPS_Rx_Advanced feature now included on all models. This feature allows OEMStars to obtain a
DGPS position when receiving carrier phase RTCM2.3, RTCA, RTCMv3 and CMR messages.
• Factory default changed to: SBASCONTROL DISABLE (SBAS disabled by default). This benefits
our customers who are able to track SBAS but are outside of the correction grid.
• Factory default changed to: PDPFILTER ENABLE (PDP normal mode enabled by default) which
provides optimized position accuracy & solution availability in challenging environments.
• Better re-acquisition times in case of antenna disconnection or signal blocking when receiver is
powered on for extended periods of time.
