    1 – Can I start work earlier in the day so I finish by five o’clock?

    Our company operates a system of flextime. All employees must be work during the core
    hours. You can start 10 a.m and finish 4 p.m or start 8 a.m and finish 6 p.m.

    2 – I’d like to finish work every day at three-thirty. Is that possible?

    Yes, this is possible. But you have to start your work at 9 a.m.

    3 – How long I can take for lunch?

    You have anytime between midday and 2 p.m. and this should not be less than 30 minutes
    long.

    4 – I worked until eight last night. Do I get paid anything extra?

    Yes, you do. Paid overtime must be done outside of the flexible working hours.

    5 – January 1st is a public holiday, but is it part of my normal holiday?

    No, not including public holiday.

    6 – Does everyone get the same amount of annual leave?

    If you are full time, yes. But annual leave for part-time staff is calculated according to the
    number of days worked per year.

    7 – My wife is having a baby next month. Can I take some time off when it’s born?

    Yes, you do. You have two weeks of for paternity leave at any time between the child’s birth
    until eight weeks afterwards.

    8 – Sorry I was off sick yesterday. Do I still get paid?

    Yes, you do. Sick leave the employees receive full pay for a short-term illness up to 28 days.

    What is good about the work-life balance at your company?

    Speaker 1 – He said that he’s work-life balance is good, because he can work in weekends and
    have a day off in week.

    Speaker 2 – She said that she’s work-life balance is good, because she has a time to care of
    your children and work one day for week at home.

    What don’t you like about the system?

    Speaker 1 – He don’t like about this system that sometimes he’s having to work more of the
    core hours, and he’s doesn’t receive paid overtime.
    Speaker 2 – She’s don’t like about this system is your lunch. Sometimes she’s don’t have time
    for a break lunch, and she don't like the way work from home disturbs meeting projects,
    because everyone stay home in one day a week.

    What would you change about it?

    Speaker 1 – Paid overtime for everyone who worked more than core hours.

    Speaker 2 – She need of time to break lunch, and one day with all employees for meeting
    projects.
