Trouble Symptom
Coolant Overheat Alarm Icon C
• When engine coolant temperature is abnormally Alarm Icon
high, the yellow or red alarm icon will turn on.

Engine power will be automatically decreased.
Coolant Temperature Gauge
• White zone (A): Low coolant temperature.
Need to warm up the machine. Warning Buzzer YES
• Blue zone (B) : Normal operating temperature.
Related Controller ECM
• Red zone (C) : High coolant temperature. A
Overheated.
Response to Faults
Engine Coolant Water Overheated (Serious level) (Left Side)
<Effect On Engine>
Power will be derated according to the status in order to maintain the engine.
Depending on the settings, the engine will automatically shut off after a set
amount of time.
<Instruction 2>
If the warning continues to be on afterward, report it to your local Cummins
dealer along with all existing Cummins fault codes and any symptoms.
