    Flexible learning is an educational approach that provides learners with increased choice, convenience and personalization over where, when and how they learn. It aims to accommodate different learning preferences, styles and constraints. There are two main categories - provision oriented towards access and convenience, and provision oriented towards accommodating learning preferences. Examples include moving time/place of learning, removing entry requirements and allowing alternative entry/exit points.     FLEXIBLE LEARNING

    “Flexible Learning is a tool that would help
    ensure the continuity of inclusive and
    accessible education when the use of
    traditional modes of teaching is not feasible, as
    in the occurrence of national emergencies.”
    What is flexible learning?
    How will it be able to
    address our educational
    concerns?
    “Flexible learning is a set of educational
    philosophies and systems, concerned with providing
    learners with increased choice, convenience, and
    personalization to suit the learner. In particular,
    flexible learning provides learners with choices
    about where, when, and how learning occurs.”

    - Shurville
    Peter Ling identified the different types of
    flexible learning. He was able to find two
    categories of different types of flexible learning.

    Flexible Learning affords a lot of freedom for the
    learners, it’s the freedom to choose where to
    learn, when to learn, what to learn, and how to
    learn.

    • Students learn their strengths and weaknesses by


    grading each other, enhancing their own
