A. General Features
For the dignity of architectural culture, the better beauties of city, the image-up and free design
creation, we are pleased to introduce our ALCOFLUX, exterior & interior cladding panel of
new conception which have the progress in flatness, strength per unit weight, breaking strength
and load deduction through Flux core backing, satisfying clients’ needs through providing
fashionable color and the development of print technologies of printing stone series and PVDF
metallic color instead of monotonous feeling on Aluminum skins by new technologies and hi-
tech equipments.
a. Economical Efficiencies.
The ALCOFLUX is lighter and stronger than other panels. Therefore, it makes the
structure Frame gets to be lightweight. It doesn’t matter for standing because of the panel
strength if the panels are bigger than regular size. So, the price of subsidiary materials could
be economized.
b. Non- Combustibility
The ALCOFLUX prevents fire-spreads as well as bearing up against fire.
c. Recycling
The ALCOFLUX is composed entirely of Aluminum between surface skins and core. That
is why the ALCOFLUX could be called harmonious products of nature with possibility of
recycling.
d. Ship Building
; It’s suitable for inner partition of vessel due to
lightweight and strong structure.

DongShin “Flux core” is designed in corrugated shape enlarged its top area to enhance
structural strength and maximize adhesive power.
f. Adhesive
The inner layer of top and bottom sheet is treated with Epoxy Primer and the Adhesive is
also made with same Epoxy resin to enhance strong adhesive power.
Epoxy Adhesive is thermo-setting type Glue being melt in high temperature (150℃).
So, It is quite safe against change of external temperature.

B. Mechanical processing
a. Cutting
ALCOFLUX sandwich panels can easily and quickly be cut to the designed size.
Suitable saws are commercial circular or panel saws with carbide-tipped blades.
Simultaneous cutting of several panels makes the cutting work more efficient.
Ribbon and jigsaws may be used for precise finishing.
Grooving should be done on the folding part of aluminum surface sheet. In case of
0.6mm t surface, the sheet with corrugation should be removed except of 0.45 ~ 0.5mm t
surface sheet thickness.
d. Trimming
In accordance with design, corner folding part and top part should be trimmed. In that case,
degrees can be applied 45˚, 90˚ by design.
e. Folding
1) The method is that panel can be folded with inserting into fixed tool(Panel can be
folded)
2) The method is that flange can be folded with jig tool(flange can be folded)
When it works, temperature should be kept in normal temperature. On the fixed tool
inside, surface protection pad should be pasted. Folding time should not be several
times.
f. Rolling
An ALCOFLUX sandwich panel is ideal material for creating curved components. Small
radii parallel to the corrugation present no problem (lengthways and crossways).
In case of the roll bender, it cannot be round-bended on the end part 75mm – 100mm of the
panel.
Drilling should be done in accordance with required rivet size and condition on locating
point. After that, rivet should be jointed.
