    Read the following


    O R D E R

    The Chief Engineer/Power systems has submitted the load flow study
    report at the instant of state maximum demand of 11703 MW on 30.08.2019. Where
    in, the 132 kV RSS Malyalpally – Dharmaram DC/SC line and 132 kV Jagityal –
    Korutla DC/SC lines are over loaded.

    2. The Chief Engineer/ Karimnagar Zone has furnished the field feasibility report for
    upgradation of existing 132/33 kV Kathalapur Substation to 220/132/33 kV
    Substation along with the 132 kV connectivities to reduce the overloading of both
    132 kV RSS-Dharmaram and 132 kV Jagityal – Korutla feeders.

    3. The SLDC Transmission contingency report due to the state maximum demand of
    13,668 MW achieved on 26.03.2021, stated that the 132 kV RSS - Dharmaram and
    132 kV Jagityal - Korutla feeders are loaded more than 80 MW.

    4. The Chief Engineer/ Power systems has conducted the load flow studies and
    communicated the study report stating that “load flow study results considering
    system voltages, line loadings & system losses, the field proposal for upgradation of
    existing 132/33 KV Kathalapur SS to 220/132/33 kV Substation is observed to be
    advantageous over the other field proposals for relieving the loading on 132 kV
    RSS Malyalpally – Dharmaram – Godur line, 132 kV Korutla – Jagityal line and
    400/132 kV, 200MVA PTR at Ramagundam with the following connectivities:

    i. Making LILO of 220 kV Medaram – Dichpally line to the proposed


    220/132 kV Kathalapur SS (LILO Length 1.85 kM).

    ii. Making LILO of 132 kV Dharmaram – Godur feeder to the proposed


    220/132 kV Kathalapur SS (LILO Length 16 kM).
    iii. Making LILO of 132 kV Godur – Pochampad feeder to the proposed
    220/132 kV Kathalapur SS (LILO Length 20 kM). ”

    5. The Chief Engineer/ Telecom has furnished the cost estimate for providing of OFC
    communication facility to the proposed Substation & lines for an amount of
    Rs. 405.51 Lakhs

    6. After careful consideration, TSTRANSCO accords administrative approval for the


    above scheme at a total cost of Rs.73.29 Crores including IDC considering latest
    approved material / equipment rates with 10% price escalation & GST @ 18% as per
    the break up detailed below.

    8. The Chief Engineer/ Construction is hereby authorized to take up the above works
    after funding tie-up and investment approval from the Hon’ble TSERC. This
    authorization is issued with the concurrence of Joint Managing Director (Fin, Comml
    & HRD) vide.Regd.No.4577, Dated.09.11.2021.
