Receiving the assessment package…
 Good __________, everyone!
 My name is RYAN PICARDAL ADAL, I am your TESDA Accredited
Assessor in the qualification of DRIVING NCII.

2. ACKNOWLEDGE
 I would like to acknowledge the presence of Mr/Ms. _________ our AC
manager and Mr./Ms.___________, our representative from TESDA
provincial office.
 You don’t have to worry about their presence. They are here to
oversee and observe the Conduct Competency Assessment and
Procedure. They will not assess you.

3. ATTENDANCE
 Before I start, may I ask you to sign the attendance sheet. And, please
present to me your admission slip and I.D. once your name is called.
4. SAG
 I have here with me your accomplish self-assessment guide (SAG).
 This is a proof that you know and you can perform that all the unit of
competencies under DRIVING NCII.

Welcome to SNSAT our venue for the conduct of National

Assessment.

 The purpose of national assessment aims to determine the level of

your competency and for the issuance of NATIONAL CERTIFICATE
LEVEL II
 Today, I am going to administer the full qualification of Technical
Driving NCII.
 This qualification consist of (Basic, Common) 4 core competencies
namely:
1. Carry Out Minor Vehicle Maintenance and Servicing
2. Drive Light Vehicle
3. Obey and Observe Traffic Rules and Regulations
4. Implement and Coordinate Accident-Emergency Procedures

 This 4 units are clustered to from one assessment package for full
qualification.

 I am going to use written test, demonstration and oral questioning to

assess your under pinning knowledge and underpinning skills.
  There will be two assessment result named competent and not yet
competent. If found to be COMPETENT you can get your NC after 5
working days at the TESDA Office.
 If you found to be NOT YET COMPETENT, you are qualified for
reassessment just go to the nearest assessment enter and schedule
your reassessment anytime.
 If you are not satisfied with the assessment result you may write a
letter of appeal address to the TESDA Provincial Director.
 For your personal necessities, we have a comfort room at the left after
that exist door, and you can take your meal in the canteen.
 For do’s and don’ts only I the assessor, the AC Manager and the
TESDA representative are allowed inside the Assessment Venue to
ensure the confidentiality of the Assessment. And, During Assessment
you’re no longer allowed to leave the premises.
 So if you have difficulty of understanding the given instruction, don’t
hesitate to ask me, for I am willing to assist you.
 Is there any question/concerns? If none, I will now distribute the
Competency Assessment Agreement.
Read the instruction carefully. If you need some assistance, I am willing to
assist you.

5. DISTRIBUTE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION
Trainer: Read the instruction carefully, if you have a question/concerns I am
wiling to help you. Are you all ready? (okay!)
I will give you now your written test; it is a 30 items test, read the instruction
carefully and answer it correctly. You have 20mins to answer it. Time’s Up,
please pass. Thank you!!!

Given the necessary tools and materials and you should be able to perform
the task with the title,

With allotted time of 45 minutes. Right after the demonstration, prepare
yourself for oral questioning.

 How do you feel about the assessment?
(I felt that I did perform well in demonstrating the task for the qualification,
although I have hard time answering the oral questioning)
 So, based on my observation, you are indeed competent in
performing the entire task for the whole competencies, you also got a
passing score for the demonstration and you also answered correctly
the question for the oral questioning. Also, you got 38/40 on your
written test. However, next time please observe proper body
mechanic’s in performing the task so that we can avoid unnecessary
accident, okay? And also, be confident when it comes to answering
the questions in oral exam.
 I would like to congratulate you for the job well done.
 You are already competent for this qualification. Please sign this
Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS). Go to
the______________ TESDA for the issuance of your National
Certificate, the AC manager will inform you where to claim your
certificate after 5 working days. Upon claiming please bring with you a
copy “1 copy of ID passport size. Again, congratulations!

 How do you feel about the assessment?
(I felt nervous)
 You are able to perform all the task but you did not follow the
instruction properly which leads to failure in performing your task, you
did not get the passing score for your demonstration and you only got
18/40 on the written test. Also, during the oral questioning you were
not able to answer all the question correctly. Based on my
observation, you are not yet competent.
 But don’t worry, you can have your re-assessment, just wait for the
schedule. Kindly affixed your signature in the Competency
Assessment Result Summary (CARS), go to the _____________
TESDA if you have any concerns with the result, you have the right to
appeal and you can submit your appeal to the TESDA provincial office
where assessment area and assessors are accredited. Thank you
 Candidates we are already finished with our assessment, please let
implement the 5’s to maintain cleanliness of our venue.
