II. Assignment
1. You are a bundle of possibilities. You are meant to develop like any other
living thing or else you will rut. Remember, “Growth is evidence of Life.” If
you are alive, then you must be growing and developing. Are you on your
way to development?
My self-development journey has included a wide range of
experiences. I was always withdrawn as a child, almost as if I existed
wholly in my own universe. I tried my hardest to become more extroverted,
but issues with my communication and social anxiety developed over time.
No one realized it at the time, but this aspect of my personality had a
serious influence on me as I grew older. I developed a low sense of self-
worth and became extremely self-conscious.
As I grew and matured over the years, I developed an awareness
and interest for what comes next in life. Somewhere along the way, I
became lost in the idea that I could accomplish anything when fully giving
myself, but what did I want to fully give myself to? It took a lot of trials and
tribulations for me to finally "discover" myself. With this, I can confidently
assert that I am on my way to development.
