My name is Ernesto Bayod Jr. Reporting
Good day Usepians and Hello World!
Without further a due let us now know the background history behind this fun and
engaging recreational game called Water pong/cup pong game.
Minute here is up for Marcelita Enagong has the news.
Marcelita:
The game Water pong or cup pong is an adaptation of a game called Beirut. In
this game, players throw a ping pong ball across a table with the intent of landing the
ball in a cup on the other end. The game typically consists of opposing teams of two or
more players per side with 6 or 10 cups set up in a triangle formation on each side.
Then each team then takes turns attempting to throw ping pong balls into the
opponent's cups.
For additional information here is Ej Kytiee Reporting for history report..
Bayod2:
The game water pong or cup pong is derived from the game “Throw pong or
Beirut” the game was originally believed to have evolved from a drinking game played
with paddles. This is generally regarded to have had its origins within the fraternities of
Dartmouth College in the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s, where it has since become part
of the social culture of the campus. Water pong however uses water in the cups and
questions to be answered or dares to be performed when a ping pong ball landed inside
the cup. Other forms of the game existed such as Beer pong which is played inside a
bar or a house party, and root-beer pong where it is played by non-drinkers in Utah
state university in the USA.
Game objectives:
The objective of the game water pong is to land the ping pong ball inside the cup after
bouncing it once in the table. The first one to score 3 makes wins the game.

Bayod: The water pong or cup pong game is indeed fun and exciting. The things
needed to perform the Cup Pong game and its mechanics… will be reporting by
Marcy Maritesy…
Marcelita2:
Things needed for the game:
The most common cups used are disposable plastic cups with ridge-lines
which can be used precisely to measure the amount of water to be poured into
the cup. On each side of the table, teams assemble equilateral triangles with a
convergence point focusing on the other team.

 Games typically use ten cups. Each team usually also has a towel to dry the ball.
 A standard ping pong table or foldable banquet tables.

Mechanics:

 The game can be played between two individual players, or two teams.
 The number of cups to be placed should not be below three.
 The order of the throw should be alternating from one team to another.
 The ball must bounce once and land inside the cup in order to score a make.
 Questions and dares can be added in the bottom of the cup. If the dare is made or
the question is answered, the team that scores the make will skip a turn.
 A person or a team will be declared the winner if he/she/they scores three (3)
makes.
Cups that were accidentally left in the rack after being made are known as death/kill
cups. These cups will immediately end the game if made again.
