 All graphs and charts available in show me(tab) in tableau

1. Text Table

Text table is one of the simplest and most straightforward charts representing data in rows
and columns. Text Tables are also called pivot tables by placing one dimension on the Rows
shelf and another dimension on the Columns shelf.

Now, using the Amazon Prime TV Dataset, let's create a simple Text table to have a side-by-
side illustration of the Genre, Movie, and the respective IMDb rating of that particular movie
on one screen.

2. Heat Map
Another simpler yet effective way to represent your data is by using HeatMaps. HeatMaps
generally display data in the form of colors. HeatMaps are created in the tableau by using one
or more dimensions and a measure.

Now, using the Amazon Prime TV Dataset, let's create a HeatMap to have insights into the
Genre. Using the Language Column and Genre Column, we will understand which Genre has
the highest number of series and streamed in which language using Heatmap Charts in
Tableau

3. Highlight Table

The Highlight Table in the tableau is completely similar to the text table. The only
difference is that the highlight table’s data is displayed using different colors based on the
categorical values.

Now, let us use the Amazon dataset and get the insights of every movie or show and the total
number of seasons or series related to that particular franchise using a Highlight Table type
Chart in Tableau.
4. Symbol Map

The Symbol Map in the tableau is just any other normal map used to display geographical
data using latitudes and longitudes. The only difference is, we highlight the area of the given
coordinates using a mark.

Now, let us use the Tableau SuperStore Dataset to check the number of sales happening in
the different states using a Symbol Map type Charts in Tableau. The bigger circle represents
the higher number of total sales and vice-versa.
5. Map

The Map in Tableau is a geographical representation of the latitude and longitude coordinates
where each pair of coordinates is treated as a Continent/Country/Region/State.

Now, let us use the Tableau SuperStore dataset and find out which country in the American
Continent is bringing the maximum number of sales using the Map Charts in Tableau
6. Pie Chart

The Pie Chart is one of the simplest and easy-to-understand Charts in Tableau. It simply
organizes data in the form of a pie and divides it into slices. Each slice has a different size
based on the magnitude of data.
Now, let us use the Language column and Total count of seasons column in the Amazon
Prime TV Dataset and find out the total count of shows in a particular language using Pie
Charts in Tableau

7. Bar Chart

The Bar Chart represents the data in the form of bars. The length of the bar is proportional to
the variable value.

Now, let us use the Bar Charts in Tableau to find the total count of series in a particular
genre.
8. Stacked Bar Chart

A Stacked Bar Chart is completely similar to a simple bar chart. A Stacked Bar Chart
includes segmented bars. Every individual bar in a stacked bar chart represents a distinct
value of a field on either axis.

Now, let us find the total number of series in a particular language using the Stacked bar
Charts in Tableau.

Side-By-Side Bar Chart

A Side-By-Side Bar chart is similar to a Stacked Bar Chart. The only difference is that here it
aligns the bars in a side-by-side fashion.

Now let us use the side-by-side bar charts in Tableau to find the shows in a particular
language and Genre.
TreeMap

A TreeMap in the tableau charts is a simple rectangular chart representing data in nested
rectangles. Dimensions define the structure of the rectangles in a TreeMap.
Now, let us use the TreeMap Charts in Tableau to find the volume of a particular genre based
on the number of shows released.

Waterfall Chart

Waterfall charts are a little complicated, compared to most illustrative charts. Waterfall
Charts effectively display the cumulative effect of sequential positive and negative values. It
shows where a value starts, ends and how it gets there incrementally.

Now, let us use the Waterfall Charts in Tableau to display the cumulative effect of sequential
positive and negative values of the Genre, Language, and Running total of the shows released

Scatter Plot
The Scatter Plot in the Tableau Charts is used to compare to measures. All the data’s major
aspects can be expressed using the scatter plot’s color, shape, and size.

Side-By-Side Circles

One of the variants of a circle view is the Side-By-Side Circles Chart. The side-by-side circle
chart allows users to include more measures to be compared next to each other for a richer
analysis.

Now we shall use the Side-by-Side circles Charts in Tableau to represent the shows in their
respective genre and language.
Line Graph
The Line Graphs in the tableau are used in combining individual points (in Sequence).

Now, we shall use a Line graph to represent the sales according to months.

Area Chart

An Area chart is similar to a line chart. Except the difference is, here, the partitions are done
based on the categories /regions /nation.

Now, we will use the Area Charts in Tableau to find the sales happening in selected regions.

Dual Axis Combination

Dual-axis combination charts, or Combo Charts, are an effective chart type for showing
related information while saving real estate by combining views.

Now, we will use the Dual-Axis Charts in Tableau to find out the sales in accordance with the
financial years.

Histogram

A histogram is similar to a bar chart, but it groups the values into continuous ranges. Each bar
in the histogram represents the height of the number of values present in that range.

Now, we will use Histogram Charts in Tableau to draw insights on the IMDb ratings.
Box and Whiskers Plot

The Box and Whiskers plot a way of summing up data as a set of data measured on an
interval scale
. Gantt Chart

Gantt charts in Tableau are used to find or visualize the time duration for events or activities.
Gantt charts make the interdependencies between tasks visually apparent and illuminate the
workflow schedule.

We will now use Gantt Chart to understand the requirements of consumers in various
categories based on their total orders.

Bullet Chart

A bullet graph is useful for comparing a primary measure’s performance to one or more other
measures.

We shall now start with a bullet chart to estimate the profits in the upcoming fiscal year.
Stacked Bubble Chart

A Stacked Bubble Chart is a way to represent data in the form of a packed bubble where each
bubble has a different size based on the magnitude of the variable.

Now we will create a stacked bubble chart to understand which genre has the maximum
number of seasons
