Absorbable Dusting Powder is an absorbable powder prepared from cornstarch intended for use as a surgical glove lubricant. It contains no more than 2% magnesium oxide. The powder must pass tests for pH, loss on drying, residue on ignition, and assay for magnesium oxide content. It is also stable to autoclaving.
