ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON ADVOCATING CHILD PROTECTION


We at Tambulig National High School –Lower Tiparak believe that every child is a
unique person with an individual temperament, learning style, family background and
timing of growth and we believe that through molding and guiding them into the right path
will surely make them a competitive one.
It is our aim to build a positive environment to produce a happy learner with a
positive view in life. The Tambulig National High School –Lower Tiparak promotes a zero –
tolerance policy for any act of child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying
and other forms of abuse.
To attain this aim, we created first the Child Protection Committee which was
headed by Ellen L. Sobretodo , School Head as Chairman, Arjade T. Millante , as Vice-
Chairman, Alonabelle G. Cruda, Teacher Representative , Janina Albaracin, Student
Representative, Hon. Sandra L. Utlang , PTA President, Hon. Leocil Yrog –irog as
Community Representative. And the head of Brgy.Balugo,Upper Tiparak,Alang-alang and
Kapalaran as member.
To disseminate information about child protection policy, we oriented our learners
and parents during the opening of class and every time if there is new update. During the
PTA General Assembly, we presented the Child Protection Committee and discussed the
Child Protection Policies to the parents. Teachers were also oriented with regards the
committee and the policies of child protection during the teacher’s conference. We also
posted in every building the list of child protection committee with their designations and
contact numbers whom they can approach if there is any concern regarding child
protection.
As a school who advocates the Child Protection and Child Friendly environment, we
do not tolerate any action which we believe had violated the rights of each child. Any
happenings involving our learners were being dealt accordingly because we make sure that
every learner is our concern.
