Travelers- TCPS system is an Application Development (AD) and AVM (Application Value
Management) project where policy administration system applications are developed for Travelers. It
has a different suite of applications such as Policy Administration System, Eclips Policy System, Policy
Gateway and DAP (Dragon Asynchronous process). These applications are developed by highly
customizing the ‘OneShield’ Insurance product.

OneShield implementation uses metadata table-driven solutions to provide customer-centric and

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Transaction Repository is the critical direct database application for the client website
demanding 24X7 support. It houses all the back-end transaction logic in PL/SQL packages and also
serves as the data source and real-time transaction interface for various other downstream
applications associated with the client such as Data warehouses, IVR, CCCM (Customer Care Centre
Management) and other systems through which client data is stored and traversed.
“Transaction Repository” is an application suite at HealthNet which interacts with multiple
legacy modules and systems. It transmits real-time data to external systems through re-usable set of
well-defined SOA services and J2EE web applications. Project scope includes design, development,
and testing of transactional and batch-processing modules. It operates on a multi-faceted data
modeling architecture handling entities of HealthCare such as Member, Provider, Billing, Claims,
Authorizations, Document Links, Broker, Encounters and Employer. Integrated Oracle development
tools like PL/SQL Developer 8.0, Oracle SQL Developer 3.0 are employed for creation of PL/SQL
objects (like Packages, Views, Functions and Triggers), Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.
SQL Loader, SQL Server Replication, Data Mirror, Oracle streams, Informatica are used for Data
Migration.

 Part of the team since I was a trainee and was involved right from the Knowledge Transfer
(KT) phase in documenting and creating vivid Reverse KT presentations and Application
Manual for all future team members.
 Have mastered the diverse data loading mechanisms and monitoring strategy engaged in TR,
such as DataMirror replication, SQL Server replication, UNIX Load jobs/shell scripts and SQL
Loader*, Oracle Import/Export and Oracle Streams.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

HealthNet PMO portal was developed to serve as a one-stop information kiosk, profile
tracking and management system for all the Cognizant associates under HealthNet projects.
This Cognizant proprietary Knowledge Center was developed to help associates working in HealthNet
projects to refer Client-specific KT documents, Domain and technical training documents, information
about ongoing and pipeline projects. There are provisions for maintaining, referring and reporting
various aspects of the associate profile such as – Personal Profile, Client account status, VISA details,
Billability, Certifications, Appreciations and Awards. It also hosts a BES survey internal to HealthNet
account.
