KKDAT : THE BEACON OF HOPE FOR EVERY FILIPINO YOUTH
His thoughts is at turmoil as he stares at the ceiling of this dark, freezing chamber.
He couldn't break free from the grasp of the darkness, which was drawing him into a
corner of misery and confusion. He was persuaded. He had been deceived. He was
disoriented. He was shattered and crushed. He was compelled to believe that the
only way to escape reality was to engage in such unlawful actions. He became one
of them and did what they did. He was initially astounded by his abilities to threaten
and scare ordinary people. He relished the fights, the riots, the violence, and the high.
As a result, nefarious activities, dirty tricks, and heinous vices come at a higher price.
In this generation, modernization and discovery are frightening. Youths have been
intrigued about trying out things that are unusual for them, believing that it will make
them cool and brutish. They've been experimenting with these illicit vices and
became part of the society's rebellion. That is why, in the Philippines, narcotics are
the leading cause of criminality, and tragically, the victims are generally young
people or teenagers, leading them to engage in violence and harassment.
Teenagers crave the feeling of superiority and are addicted to these vices because
they like the sensations of excitement, confidence, belongingness, power, and
connection. Some were simply bored and wanted to have some fun. Meanwhile,
teenagers are emotionally and mentally exhausted and did not hesitate to use these
and join to temporarily escape their difficulties and problems. Poverty, peer pressure,
and curiosity are also reasons why teenagers today engage in these terrible actions.
Nonetheless, the ray of hope has arrived. The Philippine government is determined
to condemn and combat these emerging crimes and addictions among youth, so the
Philippine National Police (PNP) convened and established the KKDAT "Kabataan
Kontra Droga at Terorismo," an active youth organization that the most important
goal is to educate young people about the bad effects that this terrorism brings and
the abuse of illegal substances, as well as to eradicate those youths who have
mercilessly become victims of these inhumane acts.
The KKDAT is more than simply an organization; it is also a haven and safe zone
for young people who have been exposed to the dangers of terrorism and drug
addiction. Its main purpose is to guarantee that every youth is prepared and
equipped with knowledge and societal awareness about these issues, so that when
they are tempted and someone tries to persuade them, they know how to cope with
it and say "No." KKDAT was established to protect Filipino youth from terrorism and
drugs, to educate them on how these horrific activities can lead to harm and danger,
and to ensure that they are not easily duped by those who commit these horrible
acts. This organization also provided substance addiction and deceit counseling and
orientations. The KKDAT program, in fact, has a clear and definite mission: to stop
youngsters from being lost and duped by a rebellious group of people.
As a result, the KKDAT organization, in collaboration with our strong police officers,
serves to shelter and safeguard the fragile minds and vulnerable emotions of every
youth who have been profoundly affected and are the major target of this widespread
substance addiction and terrorism. They play an important part not only in the
nation's transformation and security, but also in ensuring that youths can achieve the
bright future they desire by keeping them away from activities that would
undoubtedly lead to failure and jeopardy. The PNP's KKDAT program is actually
valuable to the youth people since it gives them a voice to express their opposition to
drugs and terrorism, as well as the opportunity to share their own experiences with
drugs and terrorism. This will also serve as a gateway for our National Policemen to
confront the country's battle with this, and as a result, the youth will have a broader
and deeper awareness of the national concerns that our country is continuously
experiencing.
To summarize, this Youth group is a beacon of hope for every Filipino youth and will
actually benefit not only these young people but also the country as a whole by
helping in the eradication of crimes and injustices that occur on a daily basis in our
society. However, as we see beyond the true nature of this organization, we can
discover that it is not only an organization, but also a FAMILY. A family that is eager
and determined to help individuals who have chosen the wrong path in life. KKDAT
is a family with clear and good intentions for young people, with the goal of providing
them with a bright future that will contribute to the nation's progress. KKDAT is a
family that will save the lost and light the way for the blind by telling the truth and
encouraging them to open their eyes to understand the realities of our nation's
difficulties and challenges. KKDAT is a family for youths who have been despairing,
uninformed, and ungnawed. There is genuine hope for the Filipino Youth as long as
this group continues to fight for the advancement of their future and the future of the
country. This is actually an encouragement call for every Filipino Youth to be part of
this organization and to be one of this family as they destroy these plaque of the
society that stopping the national peace and progress. This is the time to take action
and be part of the solution.
