1 Perform minor teach-in process The minor teach-in process must be


performed after the following work:
- when the transmission is replaced (same
transmission model) or repaired
- when the splitter sensor (SSP) (B62), gate
sensor (SGE) (B61), gear sensor (SGG)
(B60), range sensor (SRA) (B63) or the
clutch travel sensor (B2) are replaced
- after replacing the clutch
- after replacing the master cylinder
- after replacing the clutch booster and
- after bleeding the clutch.

2 Perform long initialization sequence The major teach-in process must only be

- the gear control (GS) control unit is
replaced

- a Telma brake is retrofitted
- a different engine model is installed
(different engine output) or
- the engine is replaced.
