PROJECT TITLE: Big Ideas for Academic Excellence


OBJECTIVES/TARGETS : To achieve the Division MPS Target (QAR) from 70.4 to
80% in 3 years

Problem Statement: MPS achieved is below the division target

Root Cause: Test Items are not properly checked by the master teacher and school
head, Absenteeism, broken family, insufficient foods and lack of parental support
and guidance

Based
from the table, the Grade I-VI MPS result was 77.09 % on the school year 2016-2017 and 72.09 %
on the last school year 2017-2018 . There was a decreased of 5 % and failed to reach the
division target which is 80 %. The teachers agree to give interventions and do their best to reach
the Division Target. Implementing different programs and projects regarding this indicator will be
given more emphasis.

The table shows the result of the Quarterly Assessment for the School Year 2019-2020.
After a months of remedial intervention and conducting different activities, the average number of
MPS increased. In the First Quarter the average MPS was 77.39% , 79.40 % in Second Quarter ,
81.62% in Third Quarter and 82.52 % for the Fourth Quarter. The computed average MPS from
First to Fourth Quarter was 80.23% that gives 102% percentage of accomplishment to the target.
This implies that the intervention and the activities used improves the performance of the
learners.

VI. Recommendations

Continue to conduct SLAC for the newly hired teachers for proper guidelines
Proper preparation and implementation of the program
Give extra credits for those learners who participated in the activities
Continue tapping of potential stakeholders to support the program
Continue doing this Best practice to encourage more learners to be active .
Continue giving Remediation and enrichment activities.
At home parent/guardian should give follow-up activities this is also a big help for the
recipients.
