1.

What are some advantages a teenager might have over an experienced adult when it comes
to recognizing and implementing a business opportunity?
- When it comes to recognizing and implementing a business opportunities teenager’s
advantages over an experienced adult are, they are more adaptable to any environment,
age, or culture. Teenagers have more energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and creativity; they
are mentally fresh and are attempting something out of passion and creativity, with very
little to lose because the world does not expect them to perform at this age. The younger
you are, the better your risk tolerance. Teenagers can try something, fail, learn, and try
again without the usual consequences that adults face. Young people are also more
resilient, and they are less likely to give up until they achieve their goal.

2. Have you ever had someone take credit for your idea or work? Did someone profit financially
or receive public praise for your work? How did that make you feel? What did you do in
response?
- Not yet, but if that happened to me, I would be angry and disappointed. I'd confront the
person who takes credit for my work first, and if that didn't work, I'd notify someone that
he/she claimed credit for my work from our superior.

3. Do you agree that it is always important to look for new ideas and solutions if a workable
solution already exists? Give examples to support your answer.
- Yes, because there might be some dozens of businesses able to solve the same problem,
but one will always rise to the top, while others will fade away over time. But we can't
really expect our idea to not arise in modern environment, where venture becomes a
common norm. As a result, it is your implementation rather than one’s idea that will propel
your company to success.

4. How would you measure the effectiveness of SEEC training? How would you quantify how
innovative students’ ideas were, or how skilled students were at opportunity recognition?
- I can assess the effectiveness of SEEC training if the student can fully implement what he
or she has managed to learn in an actual scenario. Through SEEC training, student
entrepreneurs acquire resources, determine the most productive knowledge from a lot of
information, combine processing into new products or services, establish new
opportunities, enhance chances of success, and contribute to group development.
Questions:
a. Describe how Ma’s desire to influence and contribute to Chinese social and economic culture
aided his rise as a global entrepreneur. Now identify some entrepreneurial opportunities for
making a meaningful contribution to your own nation or culture.

- His initiative proved how entrepreneurial success can coexist with the Communist regime,
establishing the way for a new generation of entrepreneurs. Learning a foreign language can allow us
to understand the differences among countries. By simply learning a foreign language, we can gain
access to a wealth of information that is not available in our home country.

b. Entrepreneurs tend to see the opportunity even in the most challenging circumstances. Riding
his bike—rain or shine—for 40 minutes a day for years took unusual dedication and personal
drive. What difficulties do you currently face—or would you be willing to face—to take
advantage of entrepreneurial opportunities?

- Even though it is difficult for me, especially in the current situation where we require gadgets and the
internet to study and do not have enough money to cover those costs, I still consider attending a
meeting and gaining adequate information that I can use in the future.

c. What is something you could learn (e.g., a foreign language), or a skill you could acquire (e.g.,
trade, process, function), that would empower you to create additional entrepreneurial
opportunities for yourself in the future?

- To empower my entrepreneurial opportunities, I could also learn foreign language because

it would not only make communication easier, but it would also help you recognize and
effectively understand the cultural characteristics of the economy you are entering.
