I. INTRODUCTION
Book 1 : Chapter 5 “ICT and Language Learning”
On this book chapter 5 examines how the role given to language teaching and the nature of
language learning that has changed over time, or perhaps in response for, technological
advances. This chapter begins with the observation that it is easy, unless you have school-
age children involved in language learning, and maybe even then, to underestimate the
extent of language pedagogy, like any other human activity, is subject to influence societal
developments and trends. The technology side, the fact that. Humans now have a new set
of communication tools that are likely to behelp, pretty self explanatory. But other aspects
are not. When you stop for think about it, the changing face of language learning
throughout the ages is interesting multifaceted problem. How extensive is language learning
three, four centuries ago? What languages do people learn and how? What is considered a
high priority, both in terms of language and
this book begins an exploration of the specific ways in which ICTs have impacted about
language learning by explaining why people learn languages and whether this is influenced
by technological advances. This book asks the question: what? there is evidence that
advances in ICT stimulate, prevent, or influence of variables on taking language learning as
an activity? How ICT affects the popularity of every language? Other dimensions- The
changing face of language learning throughout the ages is the way where language learning is
conceptualized and language teaching approached. This is the subject of the next section, in
which this book investigate the relationship between ICT and methodological change. The
latter three sections are devoted to the use of ICT in language learning. After provide a
historical overview of the place of ICT in language learning, This book outlines the possible
reasons for the exploitation of ICTs, before proceeding contributions, both actual and
potential, of current technology
Book 2 : Chapter 3 “ The impact of networked ICT in literacy learning”
This book examines how influential use of ICT in English in schools. This book focuses on
the content based on the results of his research directly and the large amount of valid data
contained there is also important research on individual use of ICT in, for example, website
creation and other home or out-of-school use. this book do not wish to exclude related
research which may explain problem that this book attempts to address. In order to limit the
scope of further review, and because the rapidly changing nature of ICT, books focus on
research published since 1990: the beginning of the decade in which Internet is becoming
widely used and where schools are starting to use it in significant figures. Furthermore, the
review is limited by its focus on literacy study in English. That is, books include studies that
focus on English as a mother tongue and as a second or additional language language, but not
English as a foreign language. In other words, studies come from contexts where English is
used first, a second or additional language at home, school, and more environment.
the book focuses on the results of an in-depth review. Reader interested in the discussion of
methodological issues that arise are referred to a complete technical report.

include exposure to the impact of the internet that is developing today
4. Not suitable for use today

III. CONCLUSION
Conclusion

based on the research results the two books conclude that the results are interrelated. The first
book describes what ICT is and how important ICT is in the development of language learning. This
book has succeeded in making us know that information and communication technology is a good
thing and will be useful in the future for the development of education. While the second book
discusses the impact generated by the use of ICT in the development of language learning, it makes
us aware of the facts that have occurred to the use of information communication and technology in
learning and the results that the use of ICT has a good impact on pedagogy. Both books help us to
answer the question what is ICT? , what is the use of ict ? , as well as ICT equipment . Every thing
must have advantages and disadvantages that cannot be separated from these two books which also
have them because perfection only belongs to God. The first book presents a lot of ideas from an
expert, while the second book presents a lot of research data. but both books have the same
weakness, namely the publication year is too long. This is a weakness because the impermanent
nature of technology is different from philosophy, technology changes with the progress of the
times. There are more and more developments of today's technological tools that did not exist at
the time when this book was made so that the research results of this book cannot be used for
learning today. This means that these two books cannot be used as the main references in ICT
learning today.
