with a tiger called Richard Parker and three other animals in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Although Pi is scared, he asks himself, ‘What can I do to survive?’ There is food, water and
wood in the lifeboat and he makes a raft. Pi realises that if he can train Richard Parker, he will
be able to survive. So Pi trains the tiger and has lots of extraordinary adventures before finally
reaching a beach in Mexico, 227 days after the storm.
