1.1 INTRODUCTION
In today's generation, we are engaged in highly computerized technology aiming to make individual
lifestyles more comfortable and easier most especially in the world of business. A Boarding House is a house that a
paying guest can rent. Conventionally, boarding houses are managed manually. Most of the boarding houses use
the manual approach in managing the aforementioned areas. The manual operation involves the use of a paper and
pen approach in the recording which is prone to human mistakes.
The records and reports about the operation of the boarding house are not highly accurate and reliable.
When it comes to studying and living alone, boarding houses are one of the most likely options of the students.
Some College students who came from far places usually look for a boarding house or dormitory in order for them
to adjust to their new college life and live independently. (Qualman, 2018).
Boarding houses and apartments are handled using a boarding house management system. It makes it easier
for boarding home owners to manage expenses and boarders. It is possible to run into issues like losing track of
renter's details or having trouble in payment. The researchers collected data and discovered that it is difficult and
challenging for the owners to properly manage boarding homes. As a result, an automated system is designed to be
convenient not only for the admin and staff but also for the renters.
This Apartment management can help the business owners to avoid delayed of payments of the tenant.
The system will improve the operation of the Apartment by eliminating the manual processes and errors
encountered in the pre-existing management system. The system will make Apartment management easy, fast,
convenient, accurate, and reliable. The Apartment will be managed effectively and efficiently.
1.3 PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Boarding house Management is to serve the renters to know their delayed of payments.
This study aims to help the renters of Rod’s Apartment makes our work faster by using the system where we can
monitor the delayed payments and where we can see in the database. The system will provide good service to the
business such as it will be easy for the owner to monitor the monthly bills and payments of the apartment. In
addition, with that it will be more efficient and more accurate

According to Mary Anne M. Sahagun, Jun P. Flores, with these growing number of students coming from different
distant places, there is a need for the university to have a scheme that is suitable in managing the university’s
students housing and residential services. This study was made to aid the university’s lacking field in terms of
support to students pertaining to housing services. It’s also provided a services apartment locating, that suitable for
the needs of the students, and it’s being connected into a database to help universities to monitor current tenancy of
the students. There are also a shortage of off-campus and student-friendly housing in most college towns which
cause students to rent in an apartment close to the vicinity of a school (Maughan, 2016). This study is related to the
propose system since Boarding House Finder has feature to easily monitor the records of each boarding houses that
has permit. It similar to some of the proposed system’s that the same features that provides an organized database
to keep accurate records and make retrieval of data easier.
