INTEREST-BASED CLUB

EVENT PROPOSAL
These event proposals are intended to make our passion more enjoyable and unforgettable
with our friends and to create such bonds with them as we know some of us will have our path
and follow our dreams as college comes closer, but at the same time, these games and events
will also help a chosen charity where we can give the amount of money that will be collected to
help others in need.

1. PUNAN ANG HIMIG KO

- Music is a big part of everyone's lives, it plays a significant role for everyone.
When you go public, people listen to music through earphones, headphones, or
even speakers while standing or when they are reading something and using
music to make themselves more immersed and focused. We Filipinos enjoy
music, whether it is OPM, KPOP, or western music. Language is not a barrier
when it comes to music, and when the lyrics get stuck in our minds, we can't
help but fall in love with the meaning of the song. As we play the song multiple
times, we unintentionally memorize the music. And that is how this game works:
Five people per group will participate, and even those who cannot sing are
welcome to participate. The music will play as the singer who will sing the song is
from the singing guild, while the lyrics are visible on the screen, and when they
see a blank space, they need to sing the next word in the lyrics. They will
continue to the next round, in which you need to identify the songwriter in the
second, while in the third round you need to provide its title, and the losing
teams will need to donate any amount to the chosen charity of our club, while
the winning teams will get an additional point in one particular subject.

2. THE MIND OF MUSICIANS

- "The Mind of Musicians" is a workshop for all students that are interested in
music. There are students who want and are interested in learning musical
instruments but are still not used to playing instruments. Even last year, some
students joined the Music Club, but some of them were just beginners at playing
instruments. Speaking of last year, there was a workshop for the ukulele, and
that is why I want to propose this workshop, not just for one instrument but also
for any kind of instrument. Other members who have been playing musical
instruments will share their knowledge with other members that don't know
how to play an instrument to help them grow and develop new talents. This
workshop is intended to boost everyone's confidence, especially those students
who recognize themselves as talentless.
3. 15 minutes ART
- 15 minutes Art is an event where the artists will receive a theme or topic on the
spot from the judge. The topics may be political issues, education crises, poverty,
or any kind of social issue as long as the artist can convey their feelings through
their work. They will only bring an illustration board, and in front of them, there
will be a table of limited tools for them to use. After 15 minutes, they will
interpret every symbol and color that they represent to the judges. By
conducting this event, students will have the freedom to express their feelings
on social issues, breaking the stigma of not knowing anything or not being able
to speak because of being young.

4. Figure it LOUD
- Spoken poetry is widely popular to this day, and there's no age limit when it
comes to writing and expressing your thoughts through writing. It is an oral
poetic performance. This activity is intended to challenge the students' abilities
in expressing their emotions and vocabulary. This will test how witty they are
and how they interpret anything around them. This activity works as the
participant will only have a piece of paper and a pen. Then there will be
unknown objects hidden in a box, and the participant will choose their box, and,
after seeing what's inside of it, they need to make a poem as they make that
object's symbolism for the chosen theme of the event. For example, if
Participant A got a pencil and the theme of the event is "Galing, Husay, at
Talento ng Kabataang Pilipino", Participant A needs to make a poem about the
event's theme using a pencil as the symbolism of it. Then they need to perform it
on stage.
