T-11
T-11R
In addition to the new main canopy, the T-10R has been replaced by the T-11R reserve parachute. The T-11R is an aero-conical design and was tested extensively by the US Army under various types of main canopy malfunctions proving the T-11R to be much more reliable and more effective than the T-10R. The reserve attachment points are at the same location as the main riser attachment points on the T-11. The common attachment points allow the force of the reserve deployment to be transmitted through the long axis of the jumpers body. Additionally, the jumper is able to maintain a vertical orientation under the reserve canopy, enabling a proper prepare-to-land vertical attitude.
