II. Concept Notes/Digest/Background information/Illustrative Examples


It is a concise input about the lesson where the activity is drawn from. It must include
illustrative examples that will situate the learner towards attaining readiness in answering the
exercises that follow. This will also introduce and describe activities that the learner will do. It is
important that this part will motivate the learner to do/ perform the tasks.

III. Activities/Exercises/Guide Questions


Lesson activities/exercises that the learners need to answer based on the concept notes
provided. This is a well-designed explicit activity which delivers the necessary depth of
comprehension that will ensure quality learning of learners. It is designed to improve students’
better understanding on the topic discussed. Whenever practicable, include reflection
question/s in order for the learner to make sense of what or how he has learned. (Attach a
rating rubric for the activities when necessary.)

IV. Answers’ Key
Answers’ key shall be for the teacher’s consumption only and shall not be given to the
learners prior to answering the exercises. This is to prevent learners from copying the answers
key.
