KCAA signify approval by issuing approval document to the applicant and is


inserted in front of the schedule.

law of any such state as may be prescribed in accordance with the privileges
endorsed in the license and subject to any condition prescribed.

d)      Person whom the director general has authorized to issue a C of M in a


particular case and in accordance with that authority.
e)      A person approved by the director as being competent to issue such a
certificate in accordance with that approval.

        C Of C

a)      Holder of an aircraft maintenance engineering license granted under


this regulation as an aircraft maintenance engineer or radio maintenance
engineer being a license of a category appropriate in accordance with
regulation 11 and fourth schedule to this regulation.

b)      Holder of an aircraft maintenance engineering license granted under


the law of a state other than Kenya and rendered valid under this
regulation in accordance with privileges endorsed on the license.

c)      Holder of an aircraft maintenance engineering license granted under


the law of any such state as may be prescribed in accordance with the
privileges endorsed in the license and subject to any condition
prescribed.

d)      A person approved by the director general as competent to issue


such a certificate.

e)      In relation to the adjustment and compensation of direct reading


magnetic compass the holder of an airline transports pilot license (aero
plane), a senior commercial pilot’s license (aero plane) or a flight
navigations license.
