(2023 ACADEMIC YEAR) JANUARY INTAKE
With reference to your application for admission into a Diploma Study Programme in the
College, I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered a provisional admission to
pursue an academic programme leading to the award of a
DIPLOMA IN REGISTERED NURSING in the Department of Nursing
with effect from 2023 Academic Session January Intake

Please take note of the following conditions, which are related to your admission and
registration:
1. This offer of admission is strictly provisional and may be revoked if:
a. You cannot produce at the time of registration, the original copies of your NRC and
certified Grade 12 certificate.
2. The programme is on Full-Time basis. The duration of your course and other conditions
relating to it, are as contained in the Prospectus.
3. The attached information on fees payable, Conditions Acceptance Agreement and
Declaration Form-Acceptance of Place are for your further action.
4. Payment of Registration and 20% Tuition fees must be made not later than 21st
November, 2022 as the provisional offer of admission will lapse thereafter. The
grace period will only be extended to 30th November, 2022.
5. Costs may vary from time to time. Such will be communicated three months before
planned Clinical placements if applicable. User Fees may change due to economic
factors prevailing. Please note that the tuition fees part will remain valid for
the period of three years from the date you get into College.
6. The Opening and Registration date for January Intake is on the 3rdJanuary, 2023.
Therefore, on this date you are required to report for school.

FEES POLICY AND CONDITIONS


1. Semester tuition fee is to be made in full before you begin the classes especially for
the first semester students.
2. A statement of advice for reconsideration of the decision to train with SMaCEHS before
making any payment is indicated in the provisional acceptance letter.
3. Once one has received the service no refund will be claimed in case of any unplanned
circumstance.
4. Refund will only be provided towards tuition in the case of death of such a one who has
paid for the service but has not received the service and the period will determine with
the debt payment plan. An application for refund stating the reasons should be lodged
in as soon as the event occurs and the response will be given after 15 days to give chance
for the board to sit.
5. In case of any refund, as described in the preceding paragraph refer to Refund Policy
Document in the Director Finance Office.
6. Application and registration fees will not be refunded.
7. No student is allowed to write the exams or going for Clinical Placements without
completing the fees.
8. Payments in installments have to be arranged with the revenue accounts unit for
guidance.

CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE AGREEMENT


Silver Maple College of Education and Health Sciences’ wants your colligate experience to be a positive
one. The College believes you have the potential to succeed, and that you can benefit from a prescribed
course of study and careful monitoring of your progress.

Please take note of the following conditions, which are related to your admission and registration:
1. This offer of admission is strictly provisional and may be revoked if:
a. You fail to formally accept this offer by paying the registration fee of K 200 and
50% of the tuition fees by 30th October,2022.
b. You are unable to satisfy the necessary requirements for admission and registration.
b. You cannot produce at the time of registration, the original copies of your NRC and
certified Grade 12 certificate.
2. The programme is on Full-Time basis. The duration of is 3 years.
3. Please note that your name should be boldly written in the space provided for depositor
in the teller.
4. Please note that if it is discovered at any time that you do not possess any of the
qualifications which you claim to have obtained, the admission will be withdrawn
immediately
5. I understand that if through my request am granted the opportunity to begin my
studies and I do not have the required admission requirements the college will not
be liable over my failure to clear my grade 12 results before the national
examinations and I will be treated as an open Option student upon acceptance.

Centre for my pending ‘0’ level papers.
