Hello and a very good morning to our glorious looking judges and my fellow splendid teammates. Today
as we all know we will be explaining about the topic economics, finance and entrepreneurship in
Malaysia. Ecommerce has been getting lots of popularity lately due to the covid 19 pandemic and it is
somehow becoming a permanent work for some people.

Please allow me to share what I believe on how e-commerce is contributing to the country. Through the
fact during the pandemic of 2020, many brick-and-mortar industries were evolving to digital and
embracing e-commerce. Through this period, we can observe the increase in productivity, innovations
and better shopping experiences in many fields. Taking an example of industrial key players such as Byte
Dance, they started off as a small platform of dancing apps, but through the embracement of e-
commerce, Byte Dane through TikTok has become one of the largest social media platforms with
shopping experience embedded in the app. E-commerce surely increasing the Increasing productivity,
encouraging innovation and driving better shopping experiences.

Furthermore, ecommerce has opened opportunities to teenagers to start a small business such as selling
crocheted plushies, crystals and even photocards. For example, on TikTok, there are numerous small
business accounts and some of them are running by teenagers such as bobbiegoods that are selling cute
handmade stickers, and arrolliashop that are selling hand crochet frog hat and teddy bears. Other than
that, young business handlers can sell foods to resolve family’s financial problems through TikTok. This
way, I believe small business would grow big because people are spreading it through TikTok. This might
help producing a quality generation in the future. By handling a business on their own, they can learn
how to be independent and be immune to the negative side of the world. To sum it all up, teenagers will
be a great group who have a great way of thinking and know how to survive in the future if we start
them young and fresh.

Thank you for those wonderful ideas my team members. Now please allow me to share my opinion on
this matter.

First and foremost, we need to connect with numerous races in one particular way which is striking up a
conversation. It does feel weird sometimes especially if you are an introvert and not an outgoing person.
In order to start a conversation with people, we need to find some common theme to discuss. There are
plenty of things to look for when striking up a conversation. We just need to look for clues. Do you both
like flowers? Ask how they care for those beautiful zinnias. Are you an animal lover? Ask them their
favorite kind of animal and ask about their pets such as breed, name, etc. but the most important thing
here is to always give them a unique compliment. Paying someone a genuine compliment is a well-
known way to start a conversation. To really catch someone’s attention, make sure your compliment
isn’t one they hear all the time. For example, tall people know they’re tall. Find something else to
compliment them on such as ‘Hey you look super nice. Can I be friends with you?’ it sure is as simple as
that, folks. This way, you are not just bonding a friendship with new people, you are also being brave
talking to them and got to experience some new things.

Furthermore, we can also hang out with friends on a regular basis. We can schedule regular hangouts
once a week or once a month with different friends. We need to make an effort to keep our friendships
alive and active to avoid losing touch with our loved ones. For example, we can form a study group to
encourage members to think creatively and build strong communication skills which also help in refining
understanding the material. By forming a study group, not only can we keep the friendships alive, but
we can also earn some knowledge. And it has been proven that those who participate in study groups
feel more confident and comfortable about reaching their academic goals.

As we all know, during the worst catastrophe that humankind faced in a century known as covid-19,
experts have given a notice that during the long time period, the society’s screen time has been
increasing dramatically and most of them are from children below the age of 10 and teenagers. Due to
this matter, I strongly think that parents need to regulate their children’s devices to avoid them
watching racist content. Parents can try replacing those unhealthy content by downloading patriotic
contents such as Negaraku song and even patriotic movies that are based on true stories like PASKAL,
Bukit Kepong, Leftenan Adnan and Top Gun. On this occasion, I would like to share my favorite
Singapore movie which is Ah Boys to Men. Ah Boys to Men is about a young man attempts to escape
mandatory service in his nation’s army so he could study abroad with his girlfriend. His journey is just
hilarious. His friends are from various races such as Malay, Cina, and India. This movie shows the spirit of
patriotism, and the moral values of this movie are, we need to help those in need especially our friends
and not to bully and downgrade someone to make them feel insecure and anxiety. Parents can
download this movie and watch them together with their children to bond the family’s relationship
closer. Oh, and not to forget the currently rising movie, Mat Kilau. Some life lessons we can take and use
in our daily lives are not to keep envying people, don’t persecute people that trust us and most
importantly, don’t jump into conclusion before we get to know something better. Mat Kilau can
somehow develop patriotism feelings in people who watch it. But remember, child below the age 13
need to be guard by parents before watching Mat Kilau.

Furthermore, I believe parents play an important role in their children’s lives. Parents should monitor
their children’s movements, who are their friends and pay attention on their activities. And the most
important thing here is parents should not give that much freedom to children. This is so to avoid them
being affected by bad influence such as being aggressive, rude to the society and vandalism. In order to
counter such things from happening, parents should be the role model for their children. As an example,
parents need to stand up during Negaraku music is being played and celebrate independence month
wholeheartedly and joy. This indirectly can help producing children to develop such act and become
someone with Malaysian patriotism identity in the future.

this matter.

In my opinion, school play an important role in spreading awareness and helping students to live a
healthy lifestyle. As an example, implementing good hygiene practice such as held a mutual cooperation
to teach children on how to recycle, guarantee the cleanliness of the environment and so many more.
And as a student, our responsibilities are that we need to participate in such events to make sure our
country will not face such outbreaks like covid-19 and to reduce aedes mosquito from reproducing their
eggs and a lot more.

Furthermore, my responsibilities also involved in taking good care of myself and my surrounding. For
example, I need to always wash my hands and throw rubbish in the rubbish bin. This is so to avoid
unwanted diseases from the viruses and animals such as Vector-borne Diseases. Ooho, you have no idea
how dangerous an unknown disease could be. Take the American television series, Monsters Inside Me
as an example. If I’m not mistaken, there is a victim who suffered from hookworm disease. Hookworm
disease is a common parasitic infection in many parts of the world. Most people get the parasite by
walking barefoot in soil infected with hookworm eggs. If we left them untreated, it could lead to
unpleasant tragedy and even death.

A very good morning I plead to our elegant looking judges and my fellow magnificent teammates. Today
as we all know we will be explaining about the topic science, technology and innovation and how does
STEM benefit the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in global competition.

Please allow me to share my thoughts on this matter.

As we all know nowadays, many rising companies demanded higher quality of supply related to STEM.
This matter indirectly shows that supplier need to rise and evolved into a new generation to benefit the
industrial revolution 4.0. In order to do so, the higher-ups need to take steps in upgrading and improving
the education by retrain faculty staff, take advantage of technology, make education more collaborative
and encourage student empowerment. Other than that, implementation of stem in education is also
important. The objective of implementing STEM is to increase student’s interest in the subject matter.
Teachers need to arouse student’s interest creatively by getting them involved in the meaningful STEM
projects with the help of stakeholders. If we keep on focusing on producing non-stop evolving next
generation in STEM, we might bring Malaysia and fight on international level for a quality supply
workforce.
