Executive Summary
I have done my Summer Internship Project from “Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd”. During my
Summer Internship Project, I have learned all the working of the company.
This project work helped me to apply theoretical knowledge into practical aspects on collected
data which was a worthy experience and during the discussion with company guide I realized

that how important the project report is for the company and me. I also realized how teamwork,
goal orientation and managing interpersonal relationships are integral part of professional life;
therefore, this will definitely help me to develop qualities required for executive. In addition, I
understood products of my company and its targeted customers. Also, I got information what
are the basic categories of company products.
The main purpose of this project work is to provide Customer Support to customer by the
Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. (‘the Company’ or ‘ABC LAB’) is a B2B (Business to
Business) Our lab services offerings encompass a wide range of investigations from routine
tests to highly specialized ones.
I did my research at the Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd, branch Chinchwad and the information
I received there, along with the secondary research, helped me in strengthening my knowledge
base regarding the topic.

Chapter1:-Introduction
Background of study
The Indian Health industry is one of the largest in the world with a massive medical service
base. Our economy is largely dependent on the Health Care Industry in addition to other major
industries.The Indian public health sector encompasses 18% of total outpatient care and
44% of total inpatient care. Middle and upper class individuals living in India tend to use
public healthcare less than those with a lower standard of living. Additionally, women
and the elderly are more likely to use public services. The public health care system was
originally developed in order to provide a means to healthcare access regardless of
socioeconomic status or caste. According to the World Bank, the total expenditure on health
care as a proportion of GDP in 2015 was 3.89%. Out of 3.89%, the governmental health
expenditure as a proportion of GDP is just 1.8%, and the out-of-pocket expenditure as a
proportion of the current health expenditure was 65.06% in 2015. Attracting 45 percent of health
tourists visiting India and 30 to 40 percent of domestic health tourists, Chennai is termed
"India's health capital"

are offered to patients and clients in India.
The Company mainly deals in Radiology, Pathology & Teleradiology. Company’s service find their usage in Labs &
Healthcare industry.

company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Pune. Its authorized share capital is Rs. 1,461,576,960 and

Krsnaa Diagnostics Private Limited's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was last held on 01 July 2020 and as per
records from Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), its balance sheet was last filed on 31 March 2020.

Ms. Pallavi has been part of Krsnaa Diagnostics since its inception and has played a great role in
development of the organization.

She has been catalyst in the expansion and growth of Krsnaa Diagnostics from the tendering
process to implementation and execution of the projects.

FINANCE DIRECTOR
C.A. Yash Mutha

Mr. Yash is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and has over 15+ years of experience working
with the Big Four audit firms and industry. He has worked with Credit Suisse as well as other MNC
companies.

He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE, USA) & a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).

Dr. Kiran Bhise

Dr. Kiran Bhise is a practising Laparoscopy surgeon, Endoscopist, Surgical gastroenterologist with an
experience of 21 years.. He is esteemed member of Association of minimal access surgeons of
India(AMASI), Association of surgeons of India(ASI).

Mr. Shivananda Rao K

Mr. Shivananda Rao K comes with an experience of Sales & Marketing and Human Resources prior
to taking up charge as Chief Operating Officer. He has overall experience of 23 years in healthcare
and hospitality industry.

He has worked with Corporate Hospitals like Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Apollo Hospitals,
Gleneagles Global Hospitals (A-Parkway Pantai Enterprise) and Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.

He holds Master of Business Administration degree besides Post Graduation Diploma in Business
Administration as well.

Services and product profile


We provide specialized diagnostic imaging (including radiology), pathology/clinical laboratory and tele-
radiology services. Through our network of diagnostic centres, we offer a range of test that includes 1,394
radiology tests and 2,544 pathological tests, that cover a range of specialties and disciplines.
(i)  Radiology:
Our diagnostic centres provide physicians and individual patients with imaging capabilities to facilitate the
diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders and may reduce unnecessary invasive procedures, often
reducing the cost and amount of care for patients.

 MRI. We operate MRI machines of 0.35 Tesla, 1.5 Tesla and 3 Tesla.

 CT. We have dual slice, 16, 32, 64 and 128 slice CT scan systems installed at various centres. These
scanners are capable of performing specialized investigations with minimum radiation dose to the
patient and produces quality images to provide accurate diagnosis

 X-ray. We perform all types of X-rays and routine fluoroscopy studies such as upper GIs and barium
enemas, as well as advanced procedures including arthrograms, myelograms and ITS HSG, VCUGs.

 Mammography. Mammography is a specialized form of radiology using low dosage X-rays to


visualize breast tissue and is the primary screening tool for breast cancer. Mammography procedures
and related services assist in the diagnosis of and treatment planning for breast cancer.

 Ultrasound and Colour Doppler. Certain of our diagnostic centres offer a wide range of
ultrasound examinations done through high end, advanced ultrasound machines and reported by
qualified radiologists. All sonography studies, consisting of 2D /4D imaging, all routine scans, Doppler,
2-D Echo as well as USG guided interventional procedures are done in our centres.

 Bone Densitometry. Our Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (“DEXA”) system is located at our
diagnostic centre in KLE Hospital, Karnataka. This scanner determines bone density at the hip and
spine, diagnoses and tracks osteoporosis and osteopenia (early stage of osteoporosis). We also have a
portable ultrasound based BMD machine which can be used as a screening device to check the
symptoms of osteoporosis.

(ii) Pathology:
We offer a comprehensive test menu covering the key disciplines of conventional and specialised lab services
and our offerings encompass a wide range of investigations from routine tests to highly specialized ones. We
have top of the line fully automated analysers and a team of highly skilled and trained technical staff to
undertake these investigations.

 Routine Testing: Routine testing is typically performed on whole blood, serum, plasma and other
body fluids and specimens such as microbiology samples. These tests measure various important
bodily health parameters such as the functions of the kidney, heart, liver, thyroid gland and other
organs.

 Specialized Testing: Specialized tests are clinical laboratory tests that are not routine. Specialized
tests include molecular diagnostics, protein chemistry, cellular immunology, flowcytometry, genetics,
cytogenetics, immunohistochemistry and advanced microbiology tests.

(iii)  Tele-radiology:

 We offer our tele-radiology services from a 4,578 square facility in Pune comprising of sections for 80
CT/MRI/X-Ray technologists teams, a 100-member conference room and radiologists reporting area.

 The team at the tele-radiology hub monitors real-time critical findings of CT/ MRI/ X-ray modalities and
the same is informed to referring physicians. The reporting standards followed aide in accurate
diagnosis, which further helps in quicker and better treatment.

(iv) Home Collection Services:

 Our home collection service allows specimens to be collected from our patients’ locations, such as their
homes or offices. This is a key part of our customer-centric approach, as we strive to provide
convenient, quality services to our patients.

(v)  Hospital Partnerships:


We have entered PPP contracts with NHM funded central government agencies, state healthcare agencies, municipal
corporation and Indian Railways hospitals.

Company process
Company provide our srevice to more than 14 staes. Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamilnadu,
Andrapradesh, Odisha, Meghalaya, Manipur, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal
Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir.

Chapter3
FINDINGS:
 The company has good relationship with its customers/patients. The customers/patients are satisfied
with the relationship service provided by Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd.
 The company and its customers/patients have a long-term relationship.
 Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd has the tendency to retain its customers/patients at any cost. They believe
that the old customers/patients are more profitable instead of a new one that’s why they try to maintain
good and long-term relations to their customers/patients.
 The company has tried to develop more fast service.
 The customers of Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd are satisfied with their service and strength in low-cost
hospitality.

CONCLUSION:

The intern joined Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt with the reference of Mr.Rupam Kharche. Intern joined for Six
months is from 08 March 2021 till -/- 2021.
The intern had a great experience working with Krsnaa Diagnostics. The intern got a chance to see the different
perspectives of different people in connection with the corporate activities. The trainee also got a chance to
learn about healthcare sector.
The internship led to develop various skills in the intern which will help the intern in all time future.

LIMITATIONS OF STUDY
 The consider depended on an exceptionally unobtrusive example measure thus can't be called as a
portrayal of the perspectives and conclusion of the larger part.
 In quickly evolving industry, examination on multi day or in one fragment can change rapidly. The
natural changes are essential to be considered to absorb the discoveries.
 To convince the people for a proper interviewing process is also difficult.

SUGGESTIONS:

 Comapny can give more training program to their employees.
 They can give trainings off the working hours so that they can be more efficient at their work.

Recommendation and contribution to the company

Intern joined in Krsnaa Diagnostics Pvt on 08 March 2021 for a period of 6 months. Intern was supposed to
perform various tasks given by the head of the departments through which intern was guided very properly. The
trainee was given basic tasks to perform which in turn boosted the intern’s communication skills and helped the
intern to boost his self-confidence.

Intern worked in various departments like quality assurance department, store department and incoming
inspection department. I was also introduced to products of the company.
