COURSE DESCRIPTION
This book is a humble response to the need for instructional materials for The Teaching Profession, a three-unit course of the new teacher education curriculum. It attempts to give the
prospective professional teacher a comprehensive view of his/her multifarious task to enable him/her make an informed decision on whether or not he/she pursues teaching as s profession or
give it up for a more lucrative one.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES


At the end of this course the students must be able to:
1. Identify the qualifications in taking the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT);
2. Demonstrate knowledge of teacher qualities; and
3. Create a model illustrating the manifestation of how effective the schools are in performing the roles in the development of the community.
