Dear reader,
A very warm welcome to the second edition of our newsletter.
It also marks our Second Anniversary. Two years of working
resolutely to get closer to achieving our goals of empowering
and impacting the lives of many women and children.

With this, we begin this year with a sense of hope and

anticipation to reach out to more women and children and
help them build dignified lives.

Looking back on our journey of the past year, it has been an

extremely eventful year as we successfully launched new
initiatives and conducted various awareness programs for

COMPLETED EVENTS
1.MYTHRI - CHILD DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

An initiative that works towards upliftment and providing help to the children. We at Kaam4U firmly
believe that "Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future".
Under this initiative, in this past year we ran various donation drives at schools wherein we
provided the school children of economically challenged families with the basic school necessities
like school bags, books and sanitary pads for girls.
It is when the underprivileged children are provided with the right support, awareness, and
opportunities they can be so much more. They are no less than kids who study in big corporate
schools.
We at the foundation will strive toward providing the right support and opportunities to
underprivileged kids.

2.ENGLISH TIME - SKILL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

With immense happiness we announce that we completed over 6 batches of English Time through
the year. Many teachers from different schools in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Seema were
assisted to enhance their spoken English skills.
Various interactive spoken English sessions were conducted virtually under the guidance of
experienced mentors who helped the learners overcome their difficulties and trained them to
communicate in English with utter confidence and ease.These sessions were also graced by many
reputed guests of different backgrounds who interacted and motivated the learners and gave them
insights about career development.

3.JAGRUTHI - DIGITAL FRAUD AWARENESS

Kaam4U launched JAGRUTHI on the occasion of World Senior Citizen Day. An initiative working
towards increasing the awareness of digital frauds among elderly people. Several online sessions
were conducted by experienced mentors who covered various frauds like Email Fraud, Fraudulent
activity on Social Media Platforms, and more. Many senior citizens benefitted through these
informative sessions.

4.UNNATI - CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The initiative Unnati a job readiness program that helps women

find employment in the corporate IT sector.
Experts in the field from India and US trained five girls
from varied backgrounds (agricultural, weavers, private
employees). The pilot program was conducted for 5 women,
and all 5 of them landed corporate jobs with the help of
this program.

5.VIRATHI - HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM

Virathi is an initiative of the Kaam4U Foundation working

towards a healthy and peaceful transition in a woman's life.
Informative sessions were conducted at different
organizations in the rural areas highlighting the importance of
healthy life and the right nutrition during menstruation and
menopause.

6.SHRAVANTI - MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT

Kaam4U intensified the menstrual hygiene management

initiative to create more awareness among the women and
adolescent girls living in remote- rural and semi-urban areas.
In the past year, the organization conducted exclusive
sessions for adolescent girls from different schools and
encouraged them to take good care of their physical health.

 7.SHROTHA - MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLING

Kaam4U intensified the mental health well being initiative

during the second wave of Covid-19 and served the people
who were in distress during the pandemic time by providing
them counseling services.
Our Director and Executive Director also got felicitated by
CP Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagawat Sir, IPS during the AGM of
Rachakonda commissionerate for their contribution towards
serving the people.

8.W.H.Y - MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLING FOR TEENS

Kaam4U worked towards creating more awareness about the

mental health among teens. Interactive sessions were
conducted virtually in collaboration with other organisations.

9.VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN - AWARENESS PROGRAMME

As an organisation working for the welfare of the women and

protecting their rights we organised a session "END VIOLENCE
AGAINST WOMEN" in collaboration with COVA.
The session was primarily focussed for the teachers in the
community as to how they can promote gender equality in
schools.

I came to know about this NGO when I heard about their
commendable work for the welfare of women and children.
As a teacher at the government school I always think about the opportunities and
possibilities for the welfare of our schools.

When I discussed with the team about the possibilities of Spoken English classes for
women in rural areas, we conceptualized this initiative, especially for the teachers
working for the welfare of the children and are looking to empower their Spoken
English Skills.
Within a very short span of time they came up with a curriculum and plan of action for
conducting sessions. We completed 5 sessions till date and there are many more to
come in future.

I sincerely show my gratitude to the whole team of Kaam4U foundation for their

Digital Marketing
I am Sumathi Pandian, whose tryst with software
engineering ended very quickly but the passion for
computer based designing continued.
One thing led to another and I found myself being ably
trained in the various nuances and intricacies of building
a website and the meandering of digital marketing.

Ms. Jyothirmayee Jandhyam, Marketing Head of Kaam4U Foundation, (a Hyderabad-

based NPO) also my instructor and mentor, guided and tutored me, inspiring me to
dig deep into my designing abilities and create posters, fliers and publicity material
for Kaam4U Foundation.

My heartfelt gratitude for her continuous support and encouragement.

As luck would have it, Kaam4U Foundation motivated me to co-host the “Jagruthi
initiative” a webinar for senior citizens on Cybercrime
This wonderful experience boosted my confidence levels. I got a chance to overcome
my inhibitions and stage fear. Volunteering with Kaam4U Foundation gives me
immense pleasure, satisfaction and fulfillment. I hope to continue on my journey
with Kaam4U Foundation.
