Registration
Entry fee is Rs 3499 for all players until April 2, 2023. Late fee of Rs 500 will apply for registration of
entries from April 7 onwards until April 10, 2023. Register on www.icachess.in.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Entry fee is strictly Non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• System of Play - The latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the SWISS system will be followed.
• Mode of Tournament - Total Nine rounds shall be played.
• Tie Break - Buchholz tie Break system will be applied. In case of tie, prizes will not be shared.
• Time Control - 30 Minutes each with 30 seconds increment from move number one.
• Default Time : 15 minutes.
• AICF Player Registration - AICF registration is compulsory. AICF Registration fee is Rs.250/- for the
financial year 2023-2024. As per latest AICF regulation dated 31.07.2017, it is informed that from 01st
September 2017, all AICF player registrations will be accepted only through online. Player’s registration
should be done well before the start of event.
1. Existing Registration -For existing players please go to your player page in http://aicf.in/players and
click on extend membership
2. New (Fresh) Registration – http://aicf.in/online-player-registration/ For fresh AICF player registration,

players are requested to keep their scanned passport size photograph and birth certificate and a valid
email address (unique) not used by any other person/ player for AICF player registration. Note: Only
passport size (less than 1MB) photographs in jpeg format should be uploaded.
• Protests - Protests if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with protest
fee of Rs.1000/-within 15 minutes after completion of the game to the appeals committee. The protest
fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
• Appeals Committee – Before the commencement of the Tournament, appeals committee comprising
of five members, will be formed from the senior participants present at the players meeting. The
appeals committee decision will be final and binding on all the players concerned.
• Withdrawals - A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the chief arbiter in
writing.
• Chief Arbiter - Mr. Vasanth B H (International Arbiter).
• Players qualified for more than one prizes will be considered only for higher prize.
• Participation certificate in the form of E-Certificates will be awarded to all the participants. Merit
Certificates will be awarded to all Prize winners during the Prize Distribution.
• This tournament is a public event that will be extensively photographed and filmed. Any and every
player or spectator may be photographed or captured on camera immediately before, during and
immediately after the event. Your participation in the tournament is your tacit consent that you
understand that Innovators Chess Academy has the right to broadcast your image in conjunction with
our event, promotions related to the event, on our website, through our social media channels, and any
other media related to our event.
