Abeir-Toreil, where myriad races, religions, and ancient magic vie for power. The savage reaches of the North are overrun
with ice and monsters, the West is unsettled until the mercantile empires of the Sword Coast are reached, and the feudal
kingdoms and shires of the Heartlands serve as beacons of freedom against the encroaching darkness of Thay and its
neighboring, decaying empires of the Utter East. Beyond these lands are the Hordelands and ancient civilizations of Kara-
Tur, and to the south lies Zakhara, desert land of Fate.
Your party are among the last survivors of Cimbar, the jewel of the city-states of Chessenta between the Heartlands
and Thay. The red-robed wizards are on the march, gobbing up smaller holdings on their borders. As the towers fell to
wyvern-riders hurling down fireballs, you managed to narrowly escape aboard the last ship out, where one a traveling
Harper recruited you. The Thayans are now too strong, and only a powerful artifact hidden in their empire can bring them
down. What say you?
