states: A healthy environment is essential for healing. She stated that “nature
alone cures “.
- My thoughts about Florence Nightingale’s assumptions that states: A healthy
environment is essential for healing. She stated that “nature alone cures”. For me
in the field of nursing it is important for us to know how to be net and clean in
front of our patients cleanliness is a must. We should maintain having a clean
environment to avoid getting sick. In my own point of view Florence Nightingale’s
assumptions is telling that by optimizing our environmental health, the hospitals can
reduce exposure to disease, environmental health can improve life for every patients,
but may have the most pronounced effects among those who are already in vulnerable
health. We should have a healing environment that has a nurturing and therapeutic
effect. Hospitals environment can reduce pat9 anxiety and stress, reduce medication
use lessen pain, accelerate recovery, promote a sense of well-being, and shorten
hospitalizations. Nature alone cures, I have this habit that whenever I am stressed form
overload activities in school, having a family problem, failures, getting sick, I always went
to a place were very peaceful and alone, it makes me feel at ease and gives me comfort.
Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical
wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress
hormones.
