    2300AD: WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT

    High Threat Combat Armour, NATION: Britain/USA.

    Using a Ceramic/Kevlar composite, several new armour types are now in use by the military.

    This torso and limb armour is usually worn with the High Threat Combat Helmet.

    Type 1: Torso: 3Kg, AV: 0.8, Init-Pen: none, Lv150. Limbs: (arms/legs), 6Kg (1.5Kg/limb), Init-Pen:
    none, Lv150.

    Type 2: Torso: 3.5Kg, AV: 1, Init-Pen: -1, Lv200. Limbs: (arms/legs), 8Kg (2Kg/limb), Init-Pen: none,
    Lv200.

    Type 3: Torso: 6Kg, AV: 2, Init-Pen: -2, Lv400. Limbs: (arms/legs), 10Kg (2.5Kg/limb), Init-Pen: -1,
    Lv400.

    You can mix the armour type (the torso type must be 1 lvl higher than or equal to the limb type).

    Flamer (also known as a ‘Kafer Burner’): Projects a volatile burning chemical that sticks to the target

    ORIGIN: Britain/Germany. The British call it the ‘Rockwell Firefly’; the Germans call it the FW-01.

    Camocloth: an electronic cloth/cape, which is powered by a small box the size of a small torch. When
    the system is activated, it refracts light from the surrounding area/terrain, it effectively camouflages
    anyone under it. They measure 2 x 2 Mtrs and 5 x 5 Mtrs and are contained in a waterproof plastic pack
    about the size of a brick.
    Sensors could detect the power source, but cannot often visually lock on to the target. WT: 2Kg,

    M944 Mini-Gun: TYPE: Rapid-Fire Multi-Barrelled weapon. COUNTRY: USA

    The M2050 must be mounted either on a tri-pod or vehicle mounted.

    The M944, M1150, and M2050 are all 6-barrelled weapons, which are rotated by a motor, thus
    allowing the mini/chain-gun to blaze out a hail of APHE shells which can literally tear a man-sized
    target apart and hurl it several metres in a blaze of awesome penetrating firepower. Just the sight of the
    weapon firing, the noise of the shells, and the devastation the weapons cause is enough to encourage
    any sensible and possible target to keep their heads down!

    The M944 and the M1150 are carried on a gyro-stabilising harness, so the soldier carrying it can move
    quite freely.
