    PRINT MEDIA

    • Is one of the oldest and basic forms of mass communication. It includes newspapers,
    weeklies, magazines, monthlies and other forms of printed journals. A basic understanding of
    the print media is essential in the study of mass communication.

    BOOK

    • a set of written sheets of skin or paper or tablets of wood or ivory. : a set of written, printed,
    or blank sheets bound together between a front and back cover.

    ALMANAC

    • an annual calendar containing important dates and statistical information such as


    astronomical data and tide tables.

    DICTIONARY

    • containing a selection of the words of a language, giving information about their meanings,
    pronunciations, etymologies, inflected forms, derived forms, etc.

    THESAURUS

    • A thesaurus is a book, software program, or online service that provides alternative or


    similar words to a word. For example, searching for "hope" may return synonyms like
    "achievement," "faith," "ambition," and "optimism."

    ATLAS

    • An atlas is a book or collection of maps. Many atlases also contain facts and history about
    certain places.

    BROADCAST MEDIA
    • involves electronically and simultaneously sending information containing signals, print
    messages and audio or video content to a vast group of recipients using television, radio,
    newspapers, magazines and digital media including the Internet, emails and texts.

    BROADCASTING

    • is the distribution of audio or video content to a dispersed audience via any electronic mass
    communications medium, but typically one using the electromagnetic spectrum (radio
    waves), in a one-to-many model.

    PRINT MEDIA

    • Isa sa pinakamatanda at pangunahing anyo ng komunikasyong masa. Kabilang dito ang mga

    THESAURUS

    • Ang thesaurus ay isang libro, software program, o online na serbisyo na nagbibigay ng


    alternatibo o katulad na mga salita sa isang salita. Halimbawa, ang paghahanap para sa "pag-
    asa" ay maaaring magbalik ng mga kasingkahulugan tulad ng "achievement,"
    "pananampalataya," "ambisyon," at "optimism."
