Title of Activity BSP BACKYARD CAMPING
Inclusive Dates November 19, 2022
Participants Sapang Buho Elementary School
Objectives Camping in the open spaces has not only
promoted the good health of the young people but also
has taught them to take
care of themselves and to learn certain skills and crafts
with their hands, love of labor, and caring for others.
Narrative Report The Sapang Buho Elementary School was conducted a
BSP Backyard Camping that was participated by the
interested students from Kinder to Grade 6 level.
The BSP Backyard Camping was started at exactly 7:00
AM for the arrival and registration of the participants.
The said activity solemnly started with the opening
prayer led by Ma’am Loida Abunan followed by the
singing of National Anthem conducted by Ma’am
Catalina Rombaoa, Scout Law performed by Sir Daniel
Acosta.
The Principal of the Sapang Buho Elementary School,
Ma’am Raquel Datu delivers her speech for the opening
remarks. After that, Sir Jerome Sia oriented the
participants regarding the flow of activities prepared for
the camping.
Kinder to Grade 3 performed the following activities
such as obstacle course and different Larong Pinoy
While, Grade 4 to 6 performed the scouting skills such
as flag folding, knot tying, obstacle course as well as
the BSP Olympics like shot put, discus throw and
javelin throw.
And the traditional activities of scouting like Song and
Yell Competition, Search for Mr. Backyard Camping
and Campfire was successfully done.
All the participants enjoyed the said activity and it ends
productively.
