I.I Introduction:
The intention is to spread awareness that regards to the vulnerability of the teenagers in the state
of teenage pregnancy matter. Premarital sex is sexual action experienced by people before they
are married. In this generation, that behavior is the issue, particularly to the adolescent and
youths. Partaking that kind of actions may lead to early pregnancy and roughly consequences
like early marriage, unplanned pregnancies, abortion and increased risk for sexually transmitted
infections a long with HIV. Since our priority is the main health of youths and adolescents, the
Maaasahang Manglilingkod ng Kabataan (MMK) will organize a two (2) days seminar for the
month of February in preparation for the Valentine’s Day. We are focus to all of Saint William
School of San Marcelino Incorporated Students to attend in our seminar together with their
parents or guardians to be aware of the event.
- our main aim is to:
To spread that the premarital sex should not be practiced by the youths and adolescents.
To give them more knowledge about premarital sex and early pregnancy.
To showcase what would be the consequences when they practiced premarital sex at a
very young age.
To avoid teenagers, encounter sexually transmitted diseases and decrease the early
pregnancy in teenagers.
II. Purpose
We are concern to what is happening to our generation, especially to the youth and adolescents.
One in ten young Filipino women age 15-19 has begun childbearing: 8 percent are already
mothers and another 2 percent are pregnant with their first child according to the results of the
2013 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS). The purpose of this seminar is to
deliver knowledge about premarital sex and early pregnancy. We want to express to the youth
and adolescents the consequences they will get if they practiced this behavior. The parents or
guardians will gain some ideas how to encourage their children not to have sex in early age. We
will give presentation that will surely engage the teens not to have sex at their current age.
III. Description
The seminar will be held in Saint William School of San Marcelino Incorporated covered court.
The date is February 4 to 5, 2023 (Saturday and Sunday) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Participants
will be given certificates that will serve as proof that they attend the seminar. There will be some
activities and prizes that are connected to the project. The topics to be discussed are effects of
premarital sex and early pregnancy, how to encourage teens not to have sex, how to prevent early
pregnancy and prevention of sexually transmitted infections.
IV. Support
The estimated budget needed for the project will range to ₱ 25,000 - ₱30,00. This will include
the certificate and gift for the guest speaker, certificates for the participants, decorations,
projector, sound system, and foods.
