are what we called text types: narrative in literature,
expository or explanatory, factual and personal recount,

1. In today’s society social networking sites such as


Facebook and Twitter play a huge part in our lives.
These websites are fantastic for communicating with
friends and family that we don’t often see. They are a
great way of connecting with new people who have the
same interests as you. They are also a great way to
make new friends or find old ones. These websites,
however, are not for children and with technology
becoming increasingly easier to access, children are
getting sucked into these sites younger and younger.

2. The beach is the perfect place for me. The air is hot,
but the water is cool and fresh. I enjoy swimming and
surfing in the ocean. When I am tired, I come out and
lie on the beach. The sand is soft and white. The beach
is noisy with seagulls and children laughing, but it is a
pleasant noise. I even like the beach smells. The air
smells salty from the sea. I feel relaxed and peaceful.
When I want to relax in summer, I go to the beach.

3. One of the most unforgettable moments in my life was


when I visited Singapore. My friends who were with me
at that time were very excited to see the amazing
places. We met locals who helped us explore tourist
spots. As we were walking. I noticed that the
Singaporeans are very friendly and accommodating.
One of the locals even invited us to visit his place and
dine in a wonderful restaurant. What memorable
sojourn indeed!

4. To be healthy, especially in these times of pandemic,


people need to exercise, eat nutritious foods and keep
themselves safe and sound. Exercises can be in
different forms like walking, riding bikes or playing
sports. Next is maintain a proper healthy diet by eating
balanced meals and avoiding foods that are not healthy
for the body. Maintaining social distancing and following
health protocols is also a must. People who follow
these will be in a good shape.

5. Last week, our class planted some bean seeds in ice


cream cups. We watered the seeds. After that we
placed the cups on the windowsill in the sun. about five
days later, we observed that some of the seeds were
beginning to germinate. A few days later, the plants had
started sprout leaves. By the end of the week, they
were about seven centimeters tall.
