Snacks Market in India
The snack market in India is estimated to be worth Rs. 44,000 crore, and
the top 10 snack companies in India account for 80% of the snack items
or snack brands marketed. According to industry sources, because
snacks are packaged and sealed tightly, they have a 50% longer shelf life
than other types of snacks.
The healthy snack market size and snack income growth are predicted to
climb by 25% yearly, and the snack sector in India is expanding more
quickly than the snack market. As a result of increased investment by
snack producers in snack research and development, new product
creation, branding of snack goods, and entry into more niche areas, the
snack sector has experienced great growth. Over the past few years, a lot
of fresh snack food startups have also emerged, providing professionals
and business owners with new opportunities to manufacture snacks.

PROJECT 3
Inventory management system for manufacturing unit.
20

In this project I have talked with several IMS software

provider, and established software system for better stock
planning, reduce pilferages, and inventory planning.

Benefits Of IMS Software

Increased inventory accuracy
21

Systems for inventory management assist organizations in tracking

goods and fulfilling orders. These systems keep an eye on every
item that comes into and leaves the business during production,
storage, and sales. Many point-of-sale systems, which can handle
payments and sales and can also interact with other point-of-sale
systems, are also inventory management systems.
Businesses with more precise inventory may spend less on internal
inventory management while building stronger ties with clients and
partners.
Lower expenses
Systems for managing inventory help businesses cut expenses by
avoiding overstocking. A business can guarantee sales orders for
customers and avoid backorders when it has an accurate inventory
count.
Greater automation
When companies employ software to automate specific activities,
automation occurs. Businesses can automate the procedure to
lower errors, lower labour expenses, and provide more precise
stock counts by using inventory management software.
Automation lessens a business' reliance on human labour and, over
time, improves the effectiveness of the inventory management
process.

PROJECT 4
Sourcing raw material & Lowering down the production cost
22

In this project, I have researched many wholesaler & retailers to

source our raw material requirement by using multiple B2B,
sourcing platform like India Mart, Zomato Hyperpure etc.

India Mart Portal

24

IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd is an Indian e-commerce company that

provides B2B and customer to customer sales services via its web portal.
The group began in 1996 when Dinesh Agarwal and Brijesh Agrawal
founded the website IndiaMART.com, a business-to-business portal to
connect Indian manufacturers with buyers.
25

PROJECT 5
Setup of CRM system
In this project, I have established a WhatsApp based
communication system to send offers and other promotional
information to customer on daily basis, which helped in building
relationship and increase sales.

WhatsBulker is a user-friendly Windows desktop application that

enables you to send automated WhatsApp messages to contacts
who aren't in your address book.
26

To present, WhatsBulker is the only platform that enables you to

send your consumers bespoke and personalized messages. By
providing individualized messages to your users, it enables you to
generate engagement and establish a long-lasting connection with
them.

You may quickly communicate product updates, promotions,

news, and announcements to your audience with WhatsBulker,
along with attachments.

PROJECT 6
27

Listing SKUs and maintaining listing hygiene

In this project I have listed SKU on multiple sales channel like
Amazon, Flipkaert, cred and Snapdeal.
Process of Listing SKU

 Create an Amazon Seller Central account

 Download the correct product listing template
 Fill in the product listing template accurately
 Listing the products
 Errors/Failure in the product listing

Step #1- Create an Amazon Seller Central account

Step #2: Download the correct product listing template

28

Step #3: Fill in the product listing template accurately

29

Step #4: Listing the products

This step requires you to upload the product listing template onto
Amazon Marketplaces. This is done either by selecting ‘Add a product’
(for a single product) or ‘Add products via bulk’ (for multiple products).
You are provided with a unique Batch ID and tracking information
regarding the success or failure of listing for each upload.

You must create a product listing in Seller Central (or via API) to start
selling items on Amazon. A product listing includes:

 Product identifier - GTIN, UPC, ISBN, or EAN to specify the

exact item you’re selling
 SKU - which is a product ID you create to track your inventory
 Offer details - including price, product condition, available
quantity and shipping options
 Product details - name, brand, category, description, and images
 Keywords and search terms to help buyers find your product

You'll match an existing listing if another seller has previously made the
same product available (which means some details will already be in
place, like the product identifier). You'll make a new listing if you're the
first seller to offer a product.
30

Step #5: Errors/Failure in the product listing

This step is optional and is needed only if your product listing template
has failed to list. A list of errors along with the products is presented on
the platform. To complete a successful product listing, they must be
corrected and submitted again.
31

Contributions and Learning

1. Assisted in preparation of SOP & optimization of production

line which helped to increase the efficiency of production line.
2. Done market analysis and segmentation for new product
launch, which have now 12% share in total revenue share.
3. Established Inventory management system for manufacturing
unit.
4. Assisted in sourcing raw material & lowering down the
production cost by 10-15%.
5. Established CRM system at negligible cost to company.
6. Conducted primary screening for recruitments of staff.
7. Listed SKUs and maintained listing hygiene on multiple sales
channels like CRED, Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal & Onegreen.
8. Created and maintained daily sales report with COGS sheets.
9. Initiated FBA center fulfillment process for state Telangana &
